[BUF - RB Zack Moss on the bubble?](#4) 5. [PHI - Cameron Jurgens gets rookie deal done](#5) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 1. [BUF - RB Devin Singletary the leader in backfield](=) Source: The Buffalo News - Katherine Fitzgerald Buffalo Bills RB Devin Singletary is the leader for the starting running back position. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We can't stop drafting Devin Singletary. He was a fantasy RB1 down the stretch and in the playoffs last year. Second-round pick James Cook should play on passing downs, but that would still leave enough for Singletary to be a fantasy RB2 and a great value at his current ADP. He's an attractive pick at a low cost. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [JAX - QB Trevor Lawrence getting more comfortable]( Source: SI.com - John Shipley Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence has 'impressed the (coaching) staff with the way he has embraced (head coach) Doug Pederson's culture and offensive system' and 'looked the part in each phase of the offseason,' according to SI.com's John Shipley. 'I think he's done an outstanding job of number one, learning the system and buying into the way that we want to run and we want our quarterback to play in the system. ... The last couple of days through the OTAs, you see some of the checks that he's made the line of scrimmage. He's making quicker decisions now,' quarterbacks coach [Mike McCoy](=) told Shipley. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Lawrence (and the whole Jags offense) could be significantly better now that they are out from under the thumb of Urban Meyer. Lawrence is a good upside QB2 pick in superflex/2QB leagues. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [DAL - Dallas adds a kicker]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero Free-agent K Lirim Hajrullahu (Panthers) signed a contract with the Dallas Cowboys, according to a source Friday, July 1. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] He'll provide competition for Jonathan Garibay, as the Cowboys decided to move on from Greg Zuerlein this offseason. Zuerlein will be the kicker for the Jets this year. And if you're reading this, it's a safe bet to assume you've dominated your league. Now you can look the part too. [Shop Now]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [BUF - RB Zack Moss on the bubble?](=) Source: The Buffalo News - Katherine Fitzgerald Buffalo Bills RB Zack Moss could be on the roster bubble as second-round pick RB James Cook will cut into Moss' potential opportunities. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Bills will hope that a team that liked Moss in the 2020 draft process (when Buffalo took him in the third round) ends up with a need at running back and tosses them a late-round pick. Moss hasn't been able to stay healthy and hasn't been that effective when he is on the field. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [PHI - Cameron Jurgens gets rookie deal done]() Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com Second-round draft choice OL Cameron Jurgens (Nebraska) signed a four-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday, July 1. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jurgens should be the heir to Jason Kelce, perhaps as early as next year. The Eagles continue to have not only one of the best offensive lines in the league, but they also have backups who could start for other teams, like Jurgens. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- That'll do it for today, Folks. Thanks for reading and thanks for being part of the Footballguys Family. We'll see you tomorrow with the Update.
