[ATL - Atlanta lands WR Bryan Edwards]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero Las Vegas Raiders WR Bryan Edwards was traded along with a 2023 seventh-round draft pick to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for a 2023 fifth-round pick Friday, May 13. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] With the addition of Keelan Cole earlier this week, the Raiders could move on from Edwards - who mostly disappointed in two seasons with the team. The Falcons need all the help they can get at the wide receiver position, even after selecting WR Drake London with a top-10 pick in the 2022 NFL draft. Edwards could be in for a larger role with the Falcons than he was going to be in with the Raiders as just a depth receiver in 2022. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [BUF - James Cook signs rookie contract]( Source: BuffaloBills.com Buffalo Bills second-round pick RB James Cook signed an undisclosed four-year deal Friday, May 13. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Cook is a dynamic weapon who makes defenders look helpless in the open field. The younger brother of Dalvin Cook, he doesn't offer the same three-down ability as his big brother. However, James Cook is incredibly dangerous in space and with the Bills he gives them another big-play weapon with speed and quickness. There's flex appeal, even if he's not a full-time back for the Bills just due to the nature of that offense. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [DEN - WR Jerry Jeudy court case update](=) Source: 9News.com - Mike Klis Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy appeared in court on Friday, May 13 after he was arrested Thursday on allegations of second-degree criminal tampering with a domestic violence enhancer. After Friday's hearing, Jeudy was released on bond. The case is scheduled to return to court on Tuesday, May 31. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jeudy is facing suspension from the NFL regardless of how the legal situation turns out. Any violation of the NFL personnel conduct policy could have Jeudy missing a few games. We'll see what happens with the legal proceedings first before getting concerned about him missing time. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [LVR - RB Josh Jacobs a steady producer]() Source: ESPN.com Las Vegas Raiders RB Josh Jacobs has topped 1,200 yards from scrimmage and has scored at least seven touchdowns in all three years of his career. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jacobs is likely in his final year with the Raiders. He should lead the way for them on the ground once again, but Kenyan Drake will get work in the backfield as well. Behind Jacobs and Drake is rookie RB Zamir White, and he could get a few carries here and there as the team prepares to perhaps make him the featured running back of the future. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [CAR - Carolina still talking with QB Cam Newton](=) Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Mike Florio Free-agent QB Cam Newton (Panthers) and Carolina Panthers general manager Scott Fitterer remain in contact about a potential return for Newton, Fitterer said Wednesday, May 11. 'We're texting a little bit,' Fitterer said. 'The lines of communication are open. I know Coach Rhule has spoken with him. We are going to have a discussion at some point but we're just not quite there yet, but we'll see how it goes.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Newton is not done playing, but it may be some time before he finds a team for the 2022 season. He's not the same quarterback he used to be, and Newton would have to accept a backup role with most teams who would have interest. If the Panthers sign him, Newton could compete to start for them given they only have Sam Darnold and rookie Matt Corral at the position. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [DEN - Denver inks Greg Dulcich](=) Source: 9News.com - Mike Klis Denver Broncos third-round draft choice TE Greg Dulcich agreed to terms on a four-year deal Thursday, May 12, according to a source. Financial terms were not disclosed. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Dulcich is a receiving weapon who can attack all three levels of the field. He's in line to be the starter for the Broncos as he's a better receiving threat than Albert Okwuegbunam. New Broncos QB Russell Wilson spreads the ball around, but there is enough talent there with Dulcich for him to be a TE2 for Fantasy GMs as a rookie. [NYG - Pair of UDFAs added by NYG]() Source: Giants.com - Dan Salomone Undrafted free-agent RB Jashaun Corbin (Florida State) and LB Tomon Fox (North Carolina) signed deals with the New York Giants, the team announced Friday, May 13. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Corbin is a big-play back who should mostly be used as a receiver out of the backfield or a runner in space. He gets a chance to make the Giants roster and could thrive if utilized correctly. Corbin is not a pile-pusher, and he should not be tasked with running inside that often, but he has good vision and understands angles to cut back to. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [NO - Chris Olave signs rookie deal]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave signed a four-year rookie deal worth $19.27 million, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN on Friday, May 13. The Saints have a fifth-year option on the fully guaranteed contract. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Olave was arguably the best wide receiver in this draft class. He certainly could have been the most polished route runner of the bunch. Olave doesn't play with great speed, but he knows how to get open and has a knack for making the tough catch. He'll work as the no.2 receiver opposite of Michael Thomas in 2022. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [BUF - BUF signs rest of draft class]( Source: BuffaloBills.com Buffalo Bills fifth-round pick WR Khalil Shakir, sixth-round pick P Matt Araiza, sixth-round pick CB Christian Benford, sixth-round pick OL Luke Tenuta and seventh-round pick LB Baylon Spector signed undisclosed four-year deals Friday, May 13. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Shakir comes into the league as a crafty route runner with strong hands and good concentration. In the Bills offense, Shakir could be a slot option and return man. The Bills are stacked, but Shakir could make some big plays for them here and there. He's a steady player with quickness who we will monitor in dynasty formats. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [NYJ - WR Elijah Moore showcased upside]() Source: ESPN.com - Rich Cimini New York Jets WR Elijah Moore ranked sixth in the NFL with 459 receiving yards and tied for eighth with 34 receptions from Week 8 to Week 13 last season. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Anyone who watched Moore in college, or last year with the Jets, knows he can move the chains with big plays. We're excited to see what second-year QB Zach Wilson can do as he continues to develop as a pro. Moore has plenty of flex appeal for Fantasy GMs as a primary weapon in the Jets passing attack. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [DET - Jameson Williams rookie contract details](=) Source: Houston Chronicle - Aaron Wilson Updating a previous report, Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams' four-year rookie contract is worth $17.461 million with a $9.88 million signing bonus. The full guaranteed contract includes a fifth-year team option. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Williams is still recovering from the ACL injury he suffered in the National Championship Game. All reports have been positive about his recovery, but he could end up on the PUP list to begin training camp. When healthy, Williams has the skill to attack a defense at all three levels of the field.
