Deadline for responses: 11:59 p.m. Friend, we didn’t want to share this news, but we don’t have a choice. We’re SHOCKED and DISGUSTED at the treatment of a vulnerable wolf in rural Wyoming. A reckless trophy hunter hit and injured Theia, a young wolf, with a snowmobile, CAPTURED and BOUND her and used her as a party prop! He even paraded the tormented canine through a local bar before shooting her DEAD in cold blood. Now the hunter is getting away with this heartless stunt after only paying a small fine! We thought it couldn’t get any worse. But extremist lawmakers are launching a fresh attack on Endangered Species Act protections for gray wolves! The trophy hunting lobby is applying pressure to revoke wolves’ status as a protected species all throughout the lower 48 states, and they’ve joined forces with dirty industries to make it happen. What do these industries get out of this partnership? Well, as species protections get rolled back, wolves are being DECIMATED by brutal hunting methods, and mining, logging and oil drilling corporations could move in on their pristine habitats and exploit them for fossil fuels! That likely means losing another irreplaceable species to EXTINCTION while suffering the consequences of even more polluted public lands and waterways – and the worsening impacts of the fossil fuel-driven climate crisis. We won’t accept this terrible outcome for our planet and threatened wildlife. But we urgently need to fight back before it’s too late, and we need to know where our supporters stand. We’re up against an 11:59 p.m. deadline, and we’re counting on 14 more activists from your area to respond to our urgent poll, so please tell us: Should trophy hunters get away with TORTURING vulnerable wolves?
