Wolf pups are no match for barbaric hunters. Please, protect wildlife and our planet before it’s too late with your $10 donation! Dear Friend, Wolf pups are no match for barbaric hunters. Please, protect wildlife and our planet before it’s too late with your $10 donation! If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [Donate $10 immediately]( [Donate $27 immediately]( [Donate $50 immediately]( [Donate another amount]( You may have heard the saying “April showers bring May flowers” – but this May, blooming flowers could be the last some baby wolves see. As these newborns explore their first taste of spring, they don’t see the trophy hunters lurking in the trees. Out of nowhere, a series of loud bangs fills the air. They don’t even have time to cry out for mom as rapid-fire bullets shred through their skin. Blood splatters on tree trunks and flowers as the pups’ lifeless bodies thump to the ground. These babies barely had the chance to live. [Friend, the violence against our nation’s wolf packs and our planet must end. Please, act now and donate $10 toward our $5,000 midnight goal to protect vulnerable wildlife and our planet!]( This horrendous scene is real life. In Northern Rockies states bordering Yellowstone, it’s completely legal to target wolf pups and mercilessly slaughter them. In fact, hunters in some states are actually permitted to TRICK and BAIT these helpless wolves to lure them across Yellowstone’s park’s lines where they can be LEGALLY SLAUGHTERED. It’s inhumane and cruel to deceive these poor animals who can’t understand invisible park boundaries. As it stands, only around 100 gray wolves remain in Yellowstone. And literally one step in the wrong direction could seal their death sentence. Without urgent action to protect Northern Rocky gray wolves under the Endangered Species Act, the hunting lobby could soon wipe them out completely. That’s why we set an urgent goal to raise $5,000 by midnight tonight: for the sake of vulnerable wildlife and our planet. Will you fight with us today? The bloody violence against wolf packs and our planet must end now. Donate $10 today toward our $5,000 goal to protect wildlife and the planet! If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [Donate $10 immediately]( [Donate $27 immediately]( [Donate $50 immediately]( [Donate another amount]( The US Fish and Wildlife Service had the opportunity to relist vulnerable gray wolves in the Northern Rockies earlier this year. But – ignoring science-backed wolf recovery practices – the agency DENIED these animals protections under the Endangered Species Act. And now, the trophy hunting lobby wants to take it a step further and dismantle protections for wolves across the country! We’ve seen this happen before, Friend. In 2021, wolves were stripped of endangered species protections. Trophy hunters went on a KILLING SPREE: in one incident, 25 Yellowstone wolves were slaughtered in just 6 months. If that happened today, that would be a QUARTER of the entire Yellowstone wolf population! If trophy hunters succeed in rolling back protections for wolves again, Big Polluters could have the opportunity to exploit our vital landscapes. Mining, logging, and other destructive activities will devastate these habitats, leaving no chance for wolf recovery. All of this, simply to satisfy the insatiable greed of a few. That’s why we need your help today: Friends of the Earth members like you are at the forefront of the fight to protect vulnerable wildlife like wolves and the vital habitats they call home. But we can’t win this battle without your support. Iconic wolves, invaluable habitats, and the future of our planet are hanging in the balance. Don’t let profit-hungry interests drive our last wolf packs to extinction. Donate $10 today for wildlife and our planet before our midnight deadline! If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [Donate $10 immediately]( [Donate $27 immediately]( [Donate $50 immediately]( [Donate another amount]( It’s crucial that we defend vulnerable species like wolves and safeguard our planet. Wolves are a keystone species, responsible for maintaining ecological balance. They control prey populations, which ensures the survival of other plant and animal species. And their kills provide vital nutrients for scavengers, enriching our ecosystems. But trophy hunters and Big Polluters are putting this all at risk by attacking the Endangered Species Act. And the ESA is not just about protecting vulnerable species – it's a vital safeguard to protect species and habitats against greedy corporations intent on destroying our planet for the sake of profit. Without the ESA, communities and wildlife could suffer the devastating consequences of unchecked exploitation. That’s why Friends of the Earth is pushing back against vicious attacks on the Endangered Species Act and the greedy corporations that want to dismantle it. Friend, your membership gift today can help us continue this planet-saving work and protect vulnerable species and our only Earth. But we’re up against some powerful foes. Private trophy-hunting interests and Big Polluters have seemingly bottomless resources to get their way. That’s why I’m asking for your help today. We are falling $3,241 short of our goal. But if just 1 in 12 people reading this makes a $10 contribution by MIDNIGHT tonight, we can still reach our $5,000 goal and make real change for vulnerable wildlife and the planet. So please – join our fight today! Wolves are running out of time. Act now and donate $10 or more towards our $5,000 midnight goal to help protect wildlife and our planet!
