[1 Million for Work Flexibility]
FIND US ON THE WEB
Dear {NAME},
While people use FlexJobs to look for jobs with a variety of work flexibility options -- freelance, part-time, flexible and alternative schedule jobs -- the majority of you have at least some interest in telecommuting jobs. And one of the most common questions we get when it comes to telecommuting jobs is, ["Why do some telecommuting jobs require a location?"]
The reason is that telecommuting jobs are not necessarily the same as "work from anywhere" jobs. Although ["work from anywhere" types of jobs are out there], the reality is that the overwhelming majority of telecommuting jobs our researchers find do have a geographic requirement, so that the telecommuting job is open to candidates [in/near a specific country, region, state, or city]. This can be for many reasons, such as the job allows telecommuting only part-time, the employer's comfort level of having remote workers, issues tied to state tax requirements, and more.
Telecommuting is generally not an "all or nothing" proposition, so we encourage you to keep an open mind about telecommuting jobs with location requirements as a great option. For example, only 3.3 million people "work from home" full-time, but there are another 15-20 million who telecommute part-time. What this means is that telecommuting jobs which have a location required are far more abundant right now. That being said, the [telecommuting job market continues to evolve and grow] so the options are getting better every day. Yeah!
As always, thank you so much for allowing us to be a trusted resource in your job search for telecommuting, freelance, part-time, and any and all flexible jobs.
