I thought long and hard about the decision to run for the United States Senate. {NAME}, Impulsive, emotional decisions are out of character for me. I am the guy who had a four-year plan to get into Harvard even though my family was dirt poor. So I thought long and hard about the decision to run for the United States Senate. I prepared for it long before the possibility of Senator Sinema’s party switch. I came to the conclusion that as a Marine, a Latino, and someone with a record of standing up for working people, we can build a coalition that can win a 2-way race, 3-way race, 27-way race… doesn’t matter. The only open question was whether the grassroots support would be there. And I thought it would be. So far, I’ve been right. So I am asking: [Can you please use this link to split $5, $10 or whatever you can afford between Fight for Progress and my campaign? The amount isn’t as important as the donation, because it all adds up when we’re all chipping in. So please.]( [CONTRIBUTE $5]( [CONTRIBUTE $10]( [CONTRIBUTE $25]( [CONTRIBUTE $50]( [OTHER AMOUNT]( Thank you, and adiós, Ruben --------------------------------------------------------------- Paid for by Fight for Progress PAC and not authorized by any candidate or any candidate's committee. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
