We finally made [Compass] [Presented by]( [On our sleeves | Nationwide Children's]( Uber’s new copter service; Wool bathing suits; Smoking astronauts Heya, Happy Friday. We finally made it. Facebook is reportedly working on [a blockchain coin]( which is … certainly something. Also, the construction company Caterpillar is [suing a small coffeeshop]( for some reason. And there’s a lot more to read about today! Uber looks toward the sky Earlier this week, news broke that Uber is [planning on launching]( its own copter service. Finally! A way for rich New York Uber users to spend $200 and avoid the riffraff who drive on the ground. For years, Uber has talked about its beyond-cars plans, and flying has been a part of them. But helicopters aren’t quite as dazzling as, say, autonomous flying vehicles. So what is Uber’s plan with its [new copter service]( If we look at other, similar services, we can get a sense of what Uber is doing. It is essentially introducing itself as a provider of these kinds of high-end helicopter rides. The truth of the matter is that new kinds of flying technology won’t be available for years. A MESSAGE FROM NATIONWIDE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL [Why every business leader should care about childhood mental health]( [Why every business leader should care about childhood mental health]( Since 1 in 5 children experience a serious mental illness, many families must deal with it. Talking openly about the issue not only helps to remove any stigma related to it, but it’s also good business practice. If a child is struggling with mental illness, it is sure to remain on a parent’s mind throughout the workday. Nationwide’s commitment to its associates is what makes the company’s focus on mental health a natural fit. And it’s why the company supports On Our Sleeves, a national movement dedicated to raising awareness of and addressing the stigma around childhood mental illness. Here’s today’s look into space history … During the years when the moon missions were becoming a reality, one ubiquitous thing was igniting the nation: cigarettes. Nearly everyone smoked—from Mission Control to even some astronauts. Though they may seem like a mere set piece, cigarettes were an important and persistent part of the culture that heralded this new Space Age.
