___________________= _____ Hey everyone, hope your week's been well. The News Cycle is limping into Memorial Day weekend already. It's like eve= ryone took off on vacation. Hope you all have fun plans. My plan is to ride= the three day Horsey Hundred cycling event here in central KY. 30 miles on= the first day, 100 miles on the second, and maybe 70 miles on the third - = but I'm betting I probably won't feel like a full 70 that third day. We'll = see, the plan is to start the ride and decide when the routes diverge aroun= d mile 30. Plus the weather could get weird. Which means it's a very typica= l Kentucky memorial day weekend, that the weather is pretty much random. Speaking of news cycles, the Fark News Livestream will be back next w= eek! A bunch of us ran into Memorial Day logistics. Don't worry I'm keeping= the good stuff til next show. Have fun everyone and stay safe!

Another fun ti= me on the Quiz last week, where I discovered that AI chatbots used by retai= l outlets are often more interested in selling you stuff than actually= connecting you to the right person, On the Quiz itself, Bob F= alfa came out on top with 986, followed by Denjiro= trong> in second with 945 and wearsmanyhats in third = with 919. Glockenspiel Hero made fourth with 903, and= jeff3141 made it into the top five with 895. The = hardest question on last week's Hard Quiz was about the brand Hublot and th= eir partnership with Nespresso. Only 32% of quiztakers recognize the divisi= on of LVMH as a watch brand. So if you've got an extra $24,100 lying around= and you really like the color green, you can have a watch made from recycl= ed coffee and coffee pods that probably caused more environmental pollution= to create than we would have gotten if they had just thrown away the coffe= e and coffee pods. No word yet on how well it keeps you awake. The = easiest question on last week's Hard Quiz was about the Star Garden Topless= Dive Bar in North Hollywood, CA. 83% of quiztakers knew the dancers at the= bar had gone on strike and were now officially unionionized. They're offic= ially represented as members of Actors' Equity, the union that is best know= n for representing Broadway and touring performers. It's great to see the d= ancers are having safety and working conditions addressed, but it's still u= nclear on what happens if break time is called in the middle of a lap dance= . The hardest question on the Easy Quiz last week was about Conan O= 'Brien and his new post-;late-night streaming show. Only 43% of quiztakers = recognized the other shows listed as being Warner Bros. properties, and fol= lowing yet another rebranding, Warner Bros. Discovery is now known as Max. = I personally think that someone on their board of directors has a nephew in= the graphic design department that gets paid an awful lot of money every t= ime they change their name and need new logos. The easiest qu= estion on last week's Easy Quiz was about the upcoming "Remix" sauce mixer.= 87% of quiztakers knew that Kraft Heinz had found a creative way to inject= flavors like smoky chipotle, buffalo, and mango into their ketchup or= ranch dressing. Because it seems spoons are soooooo 20th Century. If you missed out last week, now's a great time to [catc= h up on the Fark Weird News Quiz](3D" now that you know a few of the answers= . Congratulations once again to the winners, and we'll do it all again on F= riday. --------------------------------------------------------------- ([Fark.com](3D"") sent this newsletter emai= l to: {EMAIL}) To stop these emails, go to the Notifications tab of your [MyFark profile](3D"https:=) to change your subscription preferences.
