Happy Thanksgiving week, everyone! Hopefully you do= n't have to travel far, especially since a winter storm dumped a foot of sn= ow on Denver last night. Which is where I currently am. Afternoon pla= ns include taking my kids sledding 'til their legs fall off.
On this= week's [Fark and= Schnitt podcast](3D"=), Todd and I interview OxiClean pitchman Anthony Sulliv= an on why he suddenly decided to buy a 116-acre hemp farm in Vermont and be= come a full-time farmer. The answer is somewhat unexpected, check it = out. And if you dislike clickbait taglines and/or are like me and don= 't have a commute long enough to make listening to podcasts worth it, I pos= ted the reason in [th= e comments thread for the podcast on Fark](3D"=).

Fark Weird News Quiz (brought to you by ox45tallboy)
A f= un time on the Quiz last week, even though the 1000 club remains empty.&nbs= p;Denjiro came out on top with 964, followed by Evildog in second with 939 and Drachirryz= in third with 924. EBens and poorjon= trong> tied for fourth with 912, and zuffenphile roun= ds out the top five with 908.
The hardest question on last week's Ha= rd Quiz was over which Nativity character role in elementary school was cor= related with the highest average salary later in life among Brits. Only 15%= of quiztakers knew that it was actually oxen who had the highest salary. I= 'm pretty sure that this is a case of correlation rather than causation, as= oxen are usually played by tall boys, and tall boys generally become tall = men, who for some reason tend to make more money than women and short men r= egardless of the occupation.
The easiest question on the Hard = Quiz was over what kind of critters went on a cocaine bender in the Italian= woods when they happened upon a drug gang's stash. 81% of quiztakers knew = that it was feral hogs the local distributors would be trying to explain to= their bosses about. When asked about the incident later, a feral hog denie= d any affinity for the drug, but did confess to "liking the way it smells".=
The hardest question on the Easy Quiz was over which brand was caus= ing a bit of a stir with their "I ❤ GBV" branded items, made to= recognize their Italian designer Giambattista Valli. Only 41% of quiztaker= s knew that it was H&M who employed the designs of Mr. Valli. Gucci fam= ously uses only in-house designers rather than commissioning works such as = those by Mr. Valli, who remains an independent operator.
The easiest= question on the Easy Quiz was over the new movie Dr. Sleep and its origins= . 87% of people knew that the book was based on the Stephen King novel of t= he same name, which was a sequel to his classic "The Shining". Fortunately = for the actors involved, Stanley Kubrick wasn't at the helm this time, so t= here will be fewer psychological scars. Also, a lower box office take.
Congratulations to the winners, and be sure to [check out = this week's Fark Weird News Quiz](3D".
