[Exploding Topics Logo]( Presented by: [Exploding Topics Pro Logo]( Here’s this week’s list of rapidly trending topics, insights and analysis. Topic #1 ADHD Watch [Chart]( ADHD watches are designed to help children and adults with ADHD keep track of their daily tasks. While there is no specific ADHD watch in the market, we’re seeing a growing number of people using cheap smartwatches to help with ADHD. Which has led to an increasing number of companies marketing their existing products as “ADHD watches”. For example, one particular watch, which vibrates silently and has a single-button UI, is now being marketed as an ADHD watch. That watch generates approximately $17K/month on Amazon. What's Next ADHD watches are part of the ADHD Products meta trend. ADHD awareness is growing. And this increased awareness has incentivized people to seek ADHD-specific products. Examples of trending ADHD products include: [ADHD chairs]( provide slight movement or stimulation, designed to help the user stay focused and alert. [ADHD apps]( monitor activity and provide organizational structure to help people with ADHD stay on track. [ADHD tables]( have sensory, fidget toys embedded. This way, people can use the toy when feeling anxious or stressed. [ADHD planners]( are organizational tools designed to make it easier to manage time, track goals and focus on tasks. Topic #2 Quadrobics [Chart]( Quadrobics is a form of exercise that involves moving on all four limbs, mimicking the movement of animals. The workout is trending partly due to the fact that it’s a full body workout that doesn’t require any equipment. However, quadrobics is largely gaining traction due to the fact that the practice stands out on social media. In fact, there are over 356K videos on TikTok with the hashtag #quadrobics. Whereas over 21k posts on Instagram use the #quadrobics hashtag. What's Next Quadrobics is part of the TikTok Communities meta trend. TikTok has become a go-to place for many niche communities. Here are a few examples of trending TikTok communities: “Grounders” are people interested in grounding (the practice of making direct contact with the Earth's surface to transfer its electrical energy into the body). There are 192K videos about grounding on TikTok. Witchcore is a community centered around themes of witchcraft. This community is identified by the phrase “witchtok” (6.2M videos mention witchtok on the platform). Mermaidcore refers to a TikTok community about self-proclaimed mermaids. Videos with the “mermaidtok” hashtag total 10.9K. Topic #3 Micro SaaS [Chart]( Micro SaaS is a software as a service business model focused on solving a specific problem or serving a niche customer segment. These companies often operate with small teams of developers, marketers, and customer support personnel. And we’re seeing a growing number of entrepreneurs launching micro SaaS businesses. For example, AutoShorts uses AI to generate short-form video content for YouTube and TikTok. The one-person startup launched in February 2024 and has already reached $1M ARR. What's Next Micro SaaS is part of the Digital Solopreneur meta trend. Around 41 million people in the US identify as solopreneurs. This number is forecasted to grow as more members of Gen Z enter the job market. In fact, 78% of Gen Z members rank entrepreneurship as the most accessible career for them. Faceless YouTube channel, Temu dropshipping, and Instagram affiliate marketing are examples of trending business models among solopreneurs. Topic #4 BIAB Nails [Chart]( BIAB (builder in a bottle) is a nail polish that’s emerging as an alternative to traditional nail gel and shellac. Gel manicures can cause nail damage over time, whereas shellac only lasts around two weeks. BIAB addresses both these problems (it doesn’t damage nails and can last for much longer). Interest in BIAB nails has grown largely thanks to Instagram. The hashtag #BIABnails has over 1.8 million posts on the platform. What's Next BIAB nails are part of the Gel Manicure Alternatives meta trend. In addition to concerns around long-term nail damage, if gel-based manicures are not done correctly, they create an entry point for moisture and bacteria. Which is why many are turning to alternatives, including press-on nails and nail stickers.
