[Rotating gif of photos of Moms Demand Action volunteers in red shirts at rallies, protests, and days of action.]( And we're everywhere. Moms Demand Action has established a volunteer chapter in every state with hundreds of local groups. Volunteers are organizing year-round to pass stronger gun policies at the state, local, and federal level. They are canvassing and phone banking to elect Gun Sense Candidates who will stand up to gun extremists and fight for stronger gun laws. In the past few years, hundreds of volunteers have run for local, state, and federal office—and won. Our constantly growing network of Students Demand Action volunteers is led by young people who have grown up in the midst of America’s gun violence crisis. There are now at least 600 groups across the country and active volunteers in every state and D.C., organizing in their schools, on campus, and across their communities. Yes, our grassroots volunteer movement is a force to be reckoned with.
