You can upgrade your match 3x starting right now [–]( [A gif featuring the words "Summer Match Campaign" in a gradient effect using the colors: blue, purple, red, and orange]( Hi, This has been a year of significant progress in the gun violence prevention movement. We've seen the NRA in a position of weakness like never before, helped pass life-saving legislation to bolster background checks in states across the country, and even secured a monumental win from the Supreme Court that will keep domestic abusers from owning a gun. However, we've also seen a recent uptick in tragic mass shootings happening at graduations, BBQs, and parties. Plus, there have been disastrous attacks on fundamental gun safety–including an ever-increasing crop of bills pushing guns into schools and a recent, reckless decision by that same Supreme Court to overturn a federal ban on bump stocks. Yes— the same device that was used to kill 60 people and wound at least 411 more in our country's deadliest mass shooting in Las Vegas. But that's why I’ve been a part of this movement since 2015: for moments like this where our safety is threatened–[because that's when we all need to step up and DO MORE.]( I'm excited to share that starting today, all gifts to Everytown for Gun Safety will now be TRIPLE matched, up to $250,000. [Now, your support can do three times as much to help Everytown fight for our gun safety future. So, are you in?]( [A gif featuring the words "Summer Match Campaign" in a gradient effect using the colors: blue, purple, red, and orange]( When I joined Everytown and Moms Demand Action as a member of their Creative Council, I knew this work would be tough. I knew that clawing a future free from gun violence for all communities would mean going head to head with the gun lobby, its allies in Congress, and the gun extremists that would push its guns everywhere agenda wherever possible. But the progress we've made—and the tough Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action volunteers and survivors—inspire me to keep going. And with you by our side, I know the future we're all fighting for may not be too far away. [Make a donation to Everytown today. As part of their Summer Match Campaign, all gifts will be 3x matched but only until June 30.]( Thank you for your generosity, Laura Dern As a movement of Americans fighting for common-sense gun policies, we depend on contributions from supporters like you to fund important work to reduce gun violence. Contributions to Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund are not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution or as a business expense under IRC Section 162(e). A gift may qualify you for annual membership in the Action Fund.
