Glock: it’s time you changed your practices. Hi– The 2024 legislative session in New York

Glock: it’s time you changed your practices. [–]( Hi– The 2024 legislative session in New York has ended and we have pushed a first-in-the-nation gun industry accountability bill through both chambers in the legislature. This bill, sponsored by Senator Brad Hoylman-Sigal and Assemblymember Jo Anne Simon, expands on New York's landmark gun industry accountability law passed in 2021 by explicitly putting Glock and all other gun manufacturers on notice that they must take steps to ensure their products cannot easily be converted into illegal machine guns. This victory is due to gun safety advocates like you, Friend, and our gun safety champions in the New York Legislature who have fought tirelessly to make this a reality. In short: we made it so our voice could not be ignored and won because of it. Now, this bill heads to Gov. Kathy Hochul's desk where it awaits a signature. Our fight holding the gun industry accountable is not over. It is just getting started. [In order to pass more groundbreaking legislation like this, we need to elect gun safety candidates up and down the ballot in November. Help us secure a larger, more powerful gun safety majority for New York.]( [COMMIT TO VOTE]( Thank you for being a part of our movement.
