Hi {NAME}, Short Version: My 90 day #Become Tour is now going to be a series of 22 paid events instead of free coffee shop meetups. More details coming to More Context: Ok... so this is an awkward and uncomfortable email to write... but here goes. The #Become tour began with me promising Nina that I'd take her to every city in North America with over 1 million people. Since I love meeting members of #BelieveNation I thought it would be fun to do a meetup in every city at a local coffee shop... then New York happened. I went to New York with my friend Mark to see Tony Robbins. Before the event, I did a meetup in a local coffee shop and had so many people come that we ran out of chairs for people and a good chunk of people couldn't hear me. I realized coffee shops wouldn't be ideal locations anymore... Then I met with my agent and he destroyed me. I go for drinks with my agent and he tells me that I don't take big risks. That the risks I take might seem big for other people, but they aren't actually that big for me. Doing a coffee shop meetup has no risk. If nobody shows up, there's no risk of failure. He tells me that I need to do something bigger, something that would actually make me nervous. He tells me I should do paid events instead... and he was right. I'm going to be honest with you... this terrifies me. The idea of going to a city, doing an event, having nobody show up, and then repeat that experience 22 times in 90 days feels like a nightmare... So now I have to do it. And because I'm so worried, I'm going to be overdelivering on value, making sure that the night we spend together means something to you. Now the next issue is... we need to find venues! My agent said it was too late to pull this off and we needed more time to plan... but I've never been a huge fan of waiting, so we're working on the details and as soon as I have them, I'll let you know. Some awesome bonus prizes are also coming soon! This is serious to me. My wife Nina quit her job for this so she could be the tour manager. Yesterday was her first day on the job (PS if you have any suggestions for the tour, email her at tour@evancarmichael.com). And when we meet in your city I'm going to give you everything I have. If you want to watch me and Nina talking about it (I was really nervous for this video), check out and the tour details are going to always be on Thank you for your support. This is exciting and I can't wait to meet you :) Much love, Evan #Believe Toronto Dance Salsa, attention: Evan Carmichael 5095 Yonge Street Toronto Ontario M2N 6Z4 CANADA To unsubscribe or change subscriber options, visit:
