Without expanded voting rights, we’re expecting a repeat of 2020. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ [Eugene DePasquale for PA]( {NAME}, the writing is on the wall. This week, as Senators failed to pass legislation that would’ve restored parts of the gutted Voting Rights Act, we saw a preview of what 2022 might look like if we don’t act now. Without expanded voting rights, we’re expecting a repeat of 2020. In some states, the ballot box is accessible and free for all citizens to use, and in others, it will be roadblock after roadblock preventing citizens from using their constitutional right to have their voices heard. We want our elections to be fair, but we can’t have that when right-wing extremists are constantly stacking the deck in their favor. We need your voice to stop the storm that is building on the horizon. [If you’re proud to support the right to vote and the promise of our democracy, add your name to our latest petition here.]( Pennsylvania is the birthplace of our democracy, and we should have Representatives fighting to protect that value. Instead, Scott Perry would rather take away votes from thousands of his constituents. He did it last election, and he’s already said he’d proudly “do it again.” [That’s why we need to have our voices heard while there’s still time. Add your name to our latest petition today and help protect our democracy.]( Thank you, Team Eugene Eugene DePasquale is a fighter with a reputation for being tough but fair. He gets results and will work with anyone, regardless of party, to deliver for the people of Pennsylvania. As Auditor General, he helped protect children from abuse, demanded thousands of untested rape kits be processed, exposed abuse in nursing homes, and saved taxpayers millions by shining a light on government waste, fraud, and abuse. He’s dedicated to reforming Washington and focusing on issues most important to Pennsylvanians—not the special interests.
