We have started booking travel for Erin's upcoming shows and realized we have a LOT going on this summer and fall. It is going to be a busy year! This weekend we will celebrate Erin's newest collection ([The Sunflower Collection]() at the McMinnville gallery and then it is full steam ahead to Salem, Bellevue, San Diego, Paso Robles, and La Quinta with a quick pitstop in Scottsdale, Arizona, in early November to celebrate the opening of our new gallery location! With an ever-increasing amount of help (we just welcomed our eleventh and twelfth members of The Erin Hanson Gallery team last week), our goal is to keep Erin painting and keep her inspired by exploring beautiful landscapes around the world. A brilliant sunset is reflected in a mountain lake, surrounded by tall pines. "Amethyst Blooms" Original oil on canvas 14x18 in, $7,600 A vase of sunflowers is captured in impasto oils with expressive, painterly brush strokes. The contrast of the lively yellow blooms against a purple amethyst background draws your eye into the painting to explore the movement of the petals.
