[I'd like to introduce myself and ask for your support to win the most competitive seat in Virginia this year.]( I'm a single mom born and raised in Hopewell, Virginia. My daddy was a union worker at Hercules and my mom was my school crossing guard. They taught me what hard work looks like and about the importance of supporting your community. I've spent my career as an accountant and auditor finding ways to cut wasteful spending and fight against fraud and abuse. That's exactly what I'll continue doing as delegate, but I need your help. In 2021, Republicans won this seat by only 512 votes. Together, we can take it back by storm. My team has been working hard to reach everyone across the district. We understood from the beginning this race would be a fight to the finish line, but some things are absolutely worth fighting for. Things like: - Education: Every child has the right to a free, quality public school education. I understand the need to adequately fund K-12 schools and pay teachers what they deserve. As delegate I will be an advocate for public education in District 82. - Economic Development: Taxpayers deserve a voice when deciding how their community thrives. Economic developments should benefit each citizen as well as the locality. - Addressing Food Insecurity: Food insecurity is an undeniable fact for many residents across the 82nd District. Ironically, these food deserts exist in communities where agriculture is a vital component of the local economy. As delegate I will actively pursue solutions to incentivize local farmers to donate to community food banks, promote initiatives where local farmers sell their produce directly to public schools, and encourage traditional grocery store retailers to invest in our community. Our race will be extremely close. Every donation allows us to reach more people for the opportunity to win their vote. We always knew we would be the fundraising underdog, but we will not be outworked. Will you split a donation between my campaign and EMILYs List to help make sure our district, our children, and our families have a commonsense problem-solver fighting for them in the General Assembly?
