Like â circa 2003 flip phone quality â grainy. But that wasnât the most shocking part of this little discovery... The brand that posted it was⦠[MARC JACOBS](=). =â My first thought was, âA luxury brand with a massive marketing budget posted THAT?!â ð¤ And my second thought was, âOh, of course.â In that split second between those thoughts, I realized what was going on here â Lo-Fi content. ð Lo-Fi content is intentionally scrappy content thatâs low budget and low production value, and itâs the new âit girlâ of Instagram content these days. Remember a few years ago when a perfectly curated feed of pretty Canva graphics was all the rage? ð =â Yeah, thatâs out now (sorry to be the bearer of bad news, if thatâs still your game plan! But your Instagram sales will thank me later ð). These days, a feed full of raw, off-the-cuff videos (that have questionable video quality) just scream âAUTHENTICâ â and Instagram swipers are eating it up. PS: this is a great trend to take advantage of as a business owner, because who else wants to spend $0 on making content for maximum exposure? ðââï¸ Lo-Fi videos are the simplest and fastest way to create content, AND get results.
