Ashley defended our democracy on the battlefield. Brian Fitzpatrick let Trump try to overthrow it. Hi {NAME}, 3 years ago, Donald Trump stood by while violent protestors attacked our nation’s Capitol in an attempt to overthrow the results of a free and fair election. Mobs busted down the doors to the sacred halls of our democracy, calling for the heads of our elected leaders. 174 police officers were injured, with one losing his life the following day. Four died by suicide within months after the attack. [Officer Hodges crushed in a doorway at the Capitol]( Officer Hodges crushed in a doorway at the Capitol How did Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick respond to all of this? First, Fitzpatrick voted to let Trump off the hook for the violence on January 6th. Then, Fitzpatrick voted for one of the key architects of Trump's plan to overthrow the election results – MAGA Mike Johnson – to be Speaker of the House. It is only now that Trump is finally facing some consequences. He's been indicted on 4 felony charges for the insurrection. Colorado and Maine have moved to bar Trump from appearing on their ballots for his role. But still, Trump is the Republican frontrunner for president. And it's because Brian Fitzpatrick joined with MAGA Republicans and refuses to hold Trump accountable. Ashley can be trusted to defend our democracy, our freedom to vote, and all that we hold dear as Americans – because that's exactly what she did on the battlefield as an Army helicopter pilot. Now, she's running to put that same courage to work for us in the halls of Congress. But she can't get there without our help. [Please pitch in your first donation of $10 or more to support Ashley. This year, it's not just about keeping Trump out of the White House. It's about making sure everyone who supports MAGA violence is kept far away from the levers of power.]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [Donate $10]( [Donate $25]( [Donate $35]( [Donate $50]( [Donate $100]( [Other Amount]( Thanks for being in this fight, Team Ehasz 🚁 Ashley Ehasz is a U.S. Army veteran, Apache helicopter pilot, and proudly pro-choice Democrat running to unseat Republican Brian Fitzpatrick and represent Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District to defend our democracy, restore reproductive rights, tackle corporate greed, advocate for bold gun safety measures, and fight for working families across southeast PA.
