Right now, the GOP is still threatening to force through budget cuts that will take healthcare away from seniors, children, and low-income Americans. Republicans' latest actions aren't just absurd, {NAME}. They're dangerous and cruel. Right now, the GOP is still threatening to force through budget cuts that will take healthcare away from seniors, children, and low-income Americans. They are dead set on not paying America’s bills and allowing a worldwide economic meltdown in the process. Of course, our GOP opponent Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick is happy to play along with these sleazy political games even at the expense of his own constituents. Earlier this month, Fitzpatrick voted to slash veteran’s healthcare by 22 percent. Now, he's signing on to a budget where 234,000 of his constituents could lose their Medicaid insurance coverage. (That's about 1 out of every 3 residents of PA-01.) This is just the latest example of why we need compassionate leadership in Congress. We deserve representatives who will actually stand up for hardworking families, instead of using us as bargaining chips. But actions speak louder than words. And Fitzpatrick's actions show there's nothing and no one he won't endanger for his own political power. Together, we will defeat him and elect leaders like Ashley who have the courage to do what’s right for families across Bucks County and MontCo. Thanks for all you do to make that happen.
