Hey {NAME}, When Redux came out in 2015 it blew everyone's minds. Redux gave you state that had a single source of truth and a consistent approach to update that state throughout your application. This solved many problems and headaches for you as your application grows in complexity. Redux came with tradeoffs though. When you connect a component to your Redux store, Redux makes use of logic spread through actions, action types, action creators, and reducers. Now you have to touch several files to add any new features. Creating the Redux Store with a minimal amount of functionality (e.g. adding middleware for async) was a pain for many people as well. The Redux team has been listening to the community and released a library called Redux Toolkit. Redux Toolkit reduces the headaches of setup and boilerplate code while it provides the same benefits that Redux has always offered. Redux Toolkit (RTK) lowers the barrier of entry to become productive with Redux by baking in some good defaults and including utilities for common use cases. The Redux team recommends defaulting to RTK for the vast majority of applications Redux Toolkit gets even better when you use TypeScript. With TypeScript, you can create typed selectors and dispatchers that have the power of autocomplete. Jamund Ferguson has created a course that shows just how awesome the combination of RTK + TypeScript is. Following Jamund's steps, you will build a shopping cart experience that lets you browse products, add & delete products from the cart, and more. Through this process of building cart functionality, you'll learn how to apply Redux fundamentals like: - creating slices of state in a redux store - selecting state for use throughout your application (TypeScript makes this easy!) - dispatching actions - handling async actions - and much more! = = 👉 [Watch Modern Redux with Redux Toolkit (RTK) and TypeScript (40min)]() Happy Learning, -egghead [Unsubscribe]( | [Update your profile]( | 12333 Sowden Rd Ste B, PMB#97429, Houston, TX 77080-2059

The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
