But my life sucked. I used to work around the clock. I ruined every date I went on by constantly checking my phone. And I worried that if I ever did become a father, I’d be a failure… Because I wouldn’t be there for my family. But as I began working with coaches and mentors… That all started to change. Sure, they gave me some strategies that moved me in the right direction… But more than anything, they helped me discover 3 crazy beliefs that had been holding me back. When I finally saw these beliefs for what they were (nonsense)... My productivity and business exploded… And my entire life improved exponentially. I want to share these lessons with you now… Belief #1 - “The more hours I put in, the more my business will grow” WHAT I THOUGHT: Working more means I’ll make more money and get ahead faster. MY INVISIBLE SCRIPT: “Everything has to be perfect or no one will buy from me and my business will go under.” THE TRUTH: As an entrepreneur, there is always more to do and nothing will ever be perfect. You could work ten lifetimes trying to “do it all” and still never get there. What actually matters is focusing on the small handful of key areas that are essential to growing any business. We must outsource and delegate everything else… or simply get to it when we can. Belief #2 - “I need a foolproof plan for everything” WHAT I THOUGHT: I have to spend hours each week coming up with a perfect plan for every aspect of my business. MY INVISIBLE SCRIPT: “I don’t know what I’m doing. If I don’t plan every detail perfectly I can’t take action or I’ll fail.” THE TRUTH: If you want to succeed in business, you need to plan. But you don’t need A PERFECT plan. People who build 7, 8, and 9-figure empires all have one thing in common — although they try to make informed decisions, they’re also masters at learning from failure and applying it as feedback along the way.
