Very valid question because remaining productive is something that everyone struggles with, more so for people who work at home where there are many distractions. My answer? Three things. One, routine. I start work at the same time and do the same first task everyday, first task being reviewing my checklist. Two, snooze notifications. One of the greatest distractions are the messages coming in. A single ping may have the ability to cut through my train of thought so I mute or snooze all notifications of all messaging apps for certain durations a day. Three, one at a time. I used to multitask, but decided to listen to Science and the countless studies that say multitasking actually lowers your productivity. So, no multitasking, which I think made for better quality work.
