[Right Side of History]( {NAME}, If you haven’t heard already, the most competitive governor's race in the country is taking place in our neck of the woods, right here in the South. Josh Stein has served the state of North Carolina for over two decades, including as a member of the North Carolina Senate and as the state’s Attorney General. He has a proven track record, and wants to keep working for the state where he has built his life. He wants to continue the great work of North Carolina’s current Democratic Governor Roy Cooper and he really wants to take down his opponent. GOP nominee, Mark Robinson, is among the most radical, far-right extremists in the nation. Seriously. You need to look this guy up. He believes that LGBTQ+ people are “filth,” that climate change isn’t real, and, of course, that the 2020 election was “stolen.” Oh, and let’s not forget his opinion on women. He actually reminisced positively about times when women weren’t allowed to vote. That’s right. His idea of making America great again is not allowing women to vote. That just isn’t who we are - in North Carolina, or Alabama or America. If you know me, you know I’m working hard to show that Democrats in the South can once again lead the way. The South is progressing, and we have people like Josh Stein to thank for that. Throughout his tenure, he’s fought for women’s rights, better healthcare, a solution to the climate crisis, and the securing of voting rights, among other things. He’s a fighter, not a figurehead, and the state of North Carolina simply can’t afford to lose him. Especially when the stakes are this high. Lastly, I want to remind everyone that North Carolina is in play for President Biden. It’s not hardcore MAGA, it’s been a battleground for years, and in November, Josh Stein’s race just might be what pushes the state over the edge for the President as well. It’s dang sure not out of the question – Josh’s opponent is going to keep Republicans home – and Josh will turn out Democrats, Independents, and even some Republicans who are sick of the extremism. The bottom line: We have a chance to save North Carolina from the guy who said “I absolutely want to go back to the America where women couldn’t vote”. But it’s going to take all of us. [So, if you’re able, please consider making a split donation to Right Side of History PAC and Josh Stein for Governor so we can not only elect Josh Stein, but people like him all across the country. The fight in North Carolina is just getting started, and we’re counting on you to help us come out on top >>]( -Doug Paid for by Right Side of History PAC.
