The most common violations entail working excessive hours or engaging in a dangerous job before the age of 18. Despite this trend, in the last three years, 12 states have enacted laws that roll back safety rules and regulations on hours and working conditions for young workers.  Leveraging the work of the Wage and Hour Division, it is the whole Department’s responsibility to do their part in combatting this surge in exploitative child labor. The Women’s Bureau is partnering with the Wage and Hour Division to shine a light on this issue for its stakeholders, especially those in professions on the front lines of identifying and reporting child labor violations. There is a clear need for workers to have specific training and knowledge of the signs and prevalence of child labor, as well as how to appropriately handle suspected child labor violations. This webinar will aim to provide education and awareness to stakeholders and partners who are on the front lines, interacting with children on a regular basis, so that together we can eradicate exploitative child labor using all the tools at our disposal.  Please register using the following link to join the webinar: [(%2F%2Fusdolee.webex.com%2Fweblink%2Fregister%2Fr4f69cda44ecc70d07e8e3df891aa52f2/1/01010191e16a2f99-6ceb82df-1cff-4fbe-a5a2-2ae684502668-000000/wWo7Ym7ly33DnB9IaYUzZkI_pmfEOE3aHR_4YkfL5LM=370) --------------------------------------------------------------- Follow us on Social Media [WB] Follow the Women's Bureau on social media on [X/Twitter](%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2FWB_DOL/1/01010191e16a2f99-6ceb82df-1cff-4fbe-a5a2-2ae684502668-000000/8k_VfajprgI9zzkjEpXtuplGQ6rxbcvhkeT4FAz9Hc4=370) and [LinkedIn](%2F%2Fwww.linkedin.com%2Fshowcase%2F101777458/1/01010191e16a2f99-6ceb82df-1cff-4fbe-a5a2-2ae684502668-000000/0xJX-fsjoolmNF4i8kWchHO70_3haBnKAaO8neELRps=370) to learn more about our latest research, initiatives, policies, and updates related to working women and their families. --------------------------------------------------------------- [Bookmark and Share](%2F%2Fcontent.govdelivery.com%2Faccounts%2FUSDOL%2Fbulletins%2F3b4e19b%3Freqfrom=share/1/01010191e16a2f99-6ceb82df-1cff-4fbe-a5a2-2ae684502668-000000/ypcZH0NWxQg0H-hlH2UqlsFNOUiWicYWvbShRBJaaMo=370) FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT: U.S. Department of Labor - Women's Bureau - 200 Constitution Ave NW - Washington, DC 20210 202-693-6710 (telephone) - 202-693-6725 (fax) - [www.dol.gov/wb/](%2F%2Fwww.dol.gov%2Fwb%2F/1/01010191e16a2f99-6ceb82df-1cff-4fbe-a5a2-2ae684502668-000000/QCMYWPomATWL4FZ7MhtH_OY2MMnUZs-g1SXpi2KK-A0=370) --------------------------------------------------------------- [Link Title](%2F%2Fwww.dol.gov/1/01010191e16a2f99-6ceb82df-1cff-4fbe-a5a2-2ae684502668-000000/AAWlHQ3JpG0ASJIwDI03K5cYcawn-qS3FX7pPOkvsiA=370) Questions?
