As the proud Governor of Michigan, I’ve seen firsthand the impact of grassroots support. Can I count on you to join our movement to help elect state Dems across the country?  #  [Gov. Gretchen Whitmer]( With just 26 days until Election Day, we’re in the final stretch. These next 26 days are make-or-break for Michigan – that’s why I’m reaching out today. October 16th marks the final FEC deadline before Election Day, and my friends at the DLCC have launched an ambitious $50,000 fundraising goal to give state Dems in Michigan and across the map a critical boost before the polls close. [Before I say more: Can I count on you to join our movement to elect state Dems and chip in $7 before Wednesday’s deadline to help defend our Democratic majorities in Michigan and beyond?]( As the Governor of the great state of Michigan, I’ve seen firsthand the impact of grassroots support. Democrats have used their hard-won majorities in the Michigan legislature to build a more inclusive state where we provide opportunity for all. But now, Trump Republicans are fighting tooth and nail to reclaim power – they’re targeting over a dozen Democratic-held state House seats in districts where Trump previously won and are pouring millions of dollars into key districts. We’re facing an uphill battle, and we need to be sure that state Democrats in Michigan and beyond can defeat a far-right takeover. With the generosity of this grassroots team and donations from folks like you, the DLCC has invested $10 million into key battleground states like Michigan. But our work can’t end there. Our trifecta in Michigan rests on the work we do over the next 26 days. The DLCC is leading the charge to build Democratic power, expand our majorities, and defend our trifectas this November. But they rely on the continued support and investment of grassroots donors like you to power their critical work. That’s why I’m asking you one final time ahead of Wednesday’s pivotal fundraising deadline: [Will you donate $7, $25, or whatever you can to help Democrats compete in state legislative races nationwide? Your contribution will help lay the groundwork for Democratic victories in places like Michigan →]( If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process immediately.
