Help support the legal efforts to disqualify Donald Trump from the ballot {NAME}, A judge in Colorad

Help support the legal efforts to disqualify Donald Trump from the ballot [Democracy for America Advocacy Fund](#) {NAME}, A judge in Colorado has officially ruled that Donald Trump incited and participated in an insurrection, but, in a move that challenges the principles of justice and is contrary to the expressed beliefs of constitutional scholars on all side of the ideological spectrum, she still allowed Trump on the ballot declaring a technicality in the wording of the 14th Amendment. When it comes to interpreting the law, the courts are supposed to look at the intent of the Congress that passed the law for guidance. There is zero chance that Congress intended for the presidency to NOT be included. Zero. This judge is creating a loophole out of thin air. The fight for accountability and the protection of our Constitution is far from over. Our friends at Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) are leading the court battle and have appealed this ruling. But a case like this isn’t cheap. They need our help. [Please split a donation between CREW and DFA and support the fight to disqualify Trump now.]( [RUSH A DONATION >>]( There’s no sitting back and waiting in this fight. In tandem with the fight in the courts, we’ve sent 200,235 direct messages calling on Secretaries of State and local election officials to disqualify Trump immediately. Trump tried everything to overturn the election and stay in power from violent insurrection and fake electors to actually demanding the Georgia Secretary of State just "find 11,780 votes.” Now, this week Sean Hannity on Fox News asked Trump point blank: “You’re not going to be a dictator, are you?” Trump responded: “No, no, no, other than day one. We’re closing the border and we’re drilling, drilling, drilling. After that, I’m not a dictator.” After that?? So in other words, YES. Trump is disqualified. [We must do everything we can to stop him from becoming president. Contribute to CREW and DFA now and fund the fight to keep Trump off the ballot now.]( - Amanda Amanda Ford, Director Democracy for America Advocacy Fund [Power This Campaign]( Democracy for America Advocacy Fund is a 501c4 organization.
