Among the proposals of Project 2025 is a National Anti-Abortion Coordinator to oversee a nationwide pregnancy surveillance system, tracking highly personal information on women’s reproductive health care and the status of any pregnancies. [Democracy for America Advocacy Fund](#) {NAME} Would it surprise you to learn that Project 2025, the blueprint for a Trumpian autocracy, has plans for women’s bodies that include the creation of a National Anti-Abortion Coordinator, a nationwide pregnancy surveillance system, and a national database filled with women’s reproductive health information? Can you imagine every state being required to report to the federal government intimate details concerning every pregnancy, miscarriage, stillbirth, and abortion? A federal database of women’s menstrual cycles, ovulation and conception dates, and the gestational age of every pregnancy! Can you imagine how such an intrusive database could be used to persecute pregnant women, medical professionals, and people helping pregnant women travel for reproductive healthcare? We don’t have to imagine it: Project 2025 has already put this proposed real-life dystopia in writing. The anti-rights right wants to track and monitor every step, including the most private reasons behind your most personal healthcare decisions. Fortunately, your state Governor has the power to stop this from happening. [Send a direct message to your Governor! Demand they issue an executive order refusing to comply with federal reproductive health data collection efforts now.]( [SIGN AND SEND]( Vice President Kamala Harris warned us about Trump’s plans during their first (and only?) debate, calling him on his plans to “create a National Anti-Abortion Coordinator and force states to report on women's miscarriages and abortions." It’s not just some bad idea thrown out there by extremists -- it's an active threat the right will implement the moment they are able to. The implications are horrifying. A nationwide pregnancy tracking system would enable the state to harass and persecute women who seek reproductive healthcare, and the professionals, hospitals, and clinics that provide it. We might think, “Oh, that could never happen here.” But Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is already sending law enforcement officers to private homes to “verify” people’s signatures on anti-abortion petitions in a bald-faced effort to intimidate pro-choice voters. This boneheaded proposal would prevent women from receiving needed healthcare, fundamentally distorting reproductive healthcare in America. There would no longer be any zone of privacy the government could not invade. [Tell your Governor: Take the side of reproductive health and freedom!
