The North Carolina Board of Elections just unanimously called for a new election in NC-09. [Democrats][Join us.] Friend -- After a thorough investigation into the election fraud and ballot tampering in favor of Republican Mark Harris, the North Carolina Board of Elections just unanimously called for a new election in NC-09. Now things are moving quickly -- and we do not have a second to waste. If 2018 showed us anything, it's that when Democrats have the resources to talk to voters about serious issues and honest solutions, we can win in even the reddest states and districts. We need to fight back against the blatant election fraud that occurred in 2018 and make sure every voter can make their voice heard, so I need to know if you're on board. Can you make a $3 donation to the DNC today to show you're committed to the fight to defend our democracy? Any amount you give will help us win in NC-09 and elect Democrats nationwide. [DONATE: $3]( [DONATE: $10]( [DONATE: $25]( [DONATE: $50]( [DONATE: $100]( [Or donate another amount.]( Since Republicans know they can't win on the issues, they decided to game the system by circumventing the will of the voters. Democrat Dan McCready only lost the election in 2018 by 905 votes. So make no mistake: This is politics at its most cynical and dangerous. The way to win elections sure as hell isn't to destroy absentee ballots -- it's to restore the fairness, integrity, and accountability that Americans deserve from their leaders. This race in NC-09 is much bigger than one election, it's about ending the culture of corruption that's broken our political system. Mark Harris' "win-at-any-cost" attitude didn't start overnight. For decades, Republicans have plotted to suppress Democratic turnout with aggressively gerrymandered districts and voter ID laws in North Carolina and nationwide that disproportionately affect communities of color. Protecting the right to vote and ensuring that every voter's voice is heard is a moral responsibility that Democrats are dedicated to upholding. So I am asking you directly: [Will you make a $3 contribution to the DNC to win the special election in NC-09 and help Democrats nationwide fight for fair and free elections?]( Thanks for standing with Democrats today.
