re: yesterday’s Arizona Supreme Court decision

I have breaking news for you, {NAME}: The Arizona Supreme Court just reinstated a Civil War-era abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest. This abortion ban goes completely against what the overwhelming majority of Arizonans and all Americans support, and we need to respond immediately. As Governor, I’ve expanded contraception access, vetoed anti-abortion bills from the state legislature, and signed executive orders to protect women and doctors from prosecution. I immediately called on the legislature to repeal this 1864 ban. And this November, I’m fighting alongside my fellow Arizonans to enshrine the right to an abortion in our state constitution. I won’t stop fighting until reproductive freedom is secured for all Arizonans. I’m not alone.
