# #DelgadoDispatch # {NAME}, As the end of the month nears, Lacey, the boys, and I are preparing for Thanksgiving and looking forward to taking the time to be humbled and appreciative for our countless blessings. One of the biggest blessings of them all is you. We are so grateful for all of your love and support. You’ve been with us every step of the way -- and please know that we are with you every step of the way, too. This pandemic has brought forth circumstances we’ve never known or experienced, and while we all can’t do the traditional, big family Thanksgiving due to COVID-19, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t show our gratitude and thankfulness to each other, our family, our neighbors, our friends, and our community. This year, gratitude looks a little different from exchanging meals and having big dinner parties -- instead, it looks like keeping one another safe from this deadly pandemic with a heart filled with care and compassion. It looks like having a small get together with your household members only, instead of traveling to and from places. It looks like staying indoors. It looks like buying local to support farmers in your area. It looks like social distancing and wearing a mask when you run out to your favorite local business for food or supplies. COVID-19 cases are on the rise not just in New York, but also across the entire country. The biggest gift of gratitude and the best way to spread thanks to one another is to protect one another. We do that by listening to the experts when they say stay indoors, wear a mask, and social distance. We owe it to ourselves and to our communities and beyond to take the safety measures to keep one another safe. Thanksgiving 2020 is far from traditional, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be as meaningful. {NAME}, from Lacey, the boys, and I -- have a happy and safe Thanksgiving this week!
