This is a wonderful time of the year to lift up LGBTQ+ Americans, history, and culture with everyone around us. But we also must use this moment to raise awareness about the flood of disgusting, anti-equality legislation passed by Governor DeSantis and extreme Republicans across the country. It is doing real harm to everyone in the LGBTQ+ community— including, most critically, our children. With anti-LGBTQ+ extremism at an all-time high, especially in states like Florida, we must stand together to ensure equality for each and every person in our country.
