Five of the better sales are below, plus bonus sales if need be. Included are a few picks worth pointing out. [Allen Edmonds: New markdowns added to their sale section]( [Allen Edmonds Shoes]( - [Park Avenue Weatherproof Cap-Toe Oxford with Dainite Rubber Sole – $299.97]( ($445) - [Strand Cap-Toe Oxford in Cigar – $299.97]( ($395) - [Strandmok Suede Cap-Toe Oxford with Dainite Rubber Sole – $279.97]( ($365) - [Handsewn Costa Brava Suede Camp Moc – $149.97]( ($275) imported Some real wheelhouse stuff here. Can’t say enough good things about [the weatherproof park avenues](. The leather is weirdly soft, super comfortable, and great for year round wear. Shown above is the brown option, which really is a true brown in most light but can show some reddish hues in direct sun. [Woot: Ray-Ban Event]( [Ray-Ban sunglasses]( - [50mm Ray-Ban Folding Wayfarer in Tortoise – $68.99]( ($179) - [54mm Ray-Ban Folding Wayfarer in Black – $68.99]( ($179) use the drop down menu to select the black 54mm - [55mm Ray-Ban Unisex 3016f Clubmaster Polarized Sunglasses in Brown or Black – $76.99]( ($204) The Amazon owned Woot! deal site is having a pretty impressive Ray-Ban event right now. Some weird styles for sure, but some timeless stuff too. Like those foldable way-farers. Perfect for those who go in and out of doors during the summer, and don’t totally know where to put their sunglasses when they do. Folding them up and sticking them in a lightweight sportcoat/blazer/suit jacket pocket is ideal, and being able to fold them down like that really does make a difference on saving space/bulk. Meanwhile, polarized clubmasters for $77? Not bad. [Return policy is 30 days]( but they’ll deduct a pre-paid label. Can’t seem to find how much that label will be though? Weird. [Bonobos: More New Summer Arrivals are in]( [Bonobos summer arrivals]( - [Lightweight Homestretch Jogger – $98]( - [Stretch Washed Chinos – $99]( lots of new warm weather colors - [The Off Duty Pant – $99]( - [Jersey Riviera Shirt – $79]( these are the ones made out of t-shirt fabric - [Stretch Riviera Short Sleeve Shirt – $79]( - [Jetsetter Stretch Italian Wool Blazer – $450]( Boy. When was the last time Bonobos ran a code or sale or something? Seems like it’s been forever. But they’ve got more than a few new summer arrivals in, and those “refined” homestretch joggers and off duty pants are a favorite for plenty. And the Jersey Riviera shirts really are something. Lightweight t-shirt fabric cut and sewn into a short sleeve button down. Now if we could just get a code or somethin’. [Grant Stone: 25% off final sale discontinued styles]( [Grant Stone boots]( - [Diesel Boot Coffee Suede – $213.75]( FINAL ($285) - [Country Derby in Dark Walnut Chromexcel – $223.50]( FINAL ($298) - [Diesel Boot Dark Walnut Chromexcel – $255]( FINAL ($340) Just three styles being sent off in style, with you getting 25% off. Final sale though. Grant Stone just does NOT run many sales, so, about as good as it gets for them. Head here for a review of the Suede Diesel boot, albeit in a different color of suede. That coffee option looks great though… especially at 25% off. [Bespoke Post: Member’s Perks Sale is On]( - [Picnic Time Waxed Canvas Beer Caddy Cooler – $30]( ($42) - [Wolf Club Watch Winder – $198]( ($305) - [Mordeco Revov Magnetic Rotating Tray – $58]( ($70) - [Sundream Beach Throw Blanket – $45]( ($54) You have to be a member of Bespoke Post and their monthly box of awesome club, but I’m guessing many already are? Big thanks to Mike G. for the tip here, who has that waxed canvas beer caddy and says it’s the real deal. Loves it. Thanks to Mike! Also worth a mention: - [J. Crew Factory]( Extra 15% off orders of $100+ w/ EXTRA15 - [Club Monaco]( Extra 30% off sale styles w/ ENDOFSEASON - [Nordstrom Rack]( Their end of season clearance is ongoing - [Nordstrom](: They’ve got [a quiet Summer Sale rolling](. Lots of price matching. [Picks here](, although some of the items may no longer be price matched. - [Banana Republic](: Extra 50% off sale items, no code necessary. ff/Dappered?a=QIriU1fGNx4:uzJOKjIS8zQ:yIl2AUoC8zA ff/Dappered?a=QIriU1fGNx4:uzJOKjIS8zQ:qj6IDK7rITs ff/Dappered?a=QIriU1fGNx4:uzJOKjIS8zQ:gIN9vFwOqvQ [Style Scenario: Take me out to the ballgame](r/Dappered/~3/IJ6QA3WDKMQ/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email) Posted: 23 Jun 2021 02:00 PM PDT Heads up: Buying via our links may result in us getting a commission. Also, we take your privacy rights seriously. Head [here]( to learn more. What are you going to wear? Sometimes it’s good to look at a few suggestions then add your own tweaks and ideas. That’s what these are for. Baseball season is well underway and fans are being welcomed back to a congregated setting for live sports. There’s nothing like catching a ballgame live, sipping on a cold beer, and eating a far too expensive hot dog. As far as hedonistic pleasures go, this is most definitely one of them. Here’s how to be comfortable and cool while still not looking sloppy. [Ballgame style scenario 2021] The Shirt:[GapFit Active T-Shirt – $39.95](. Sweat and odor wicking athletic fabric here in a cut and color that’s all sorts of summer vibes. Of course wearing your favorites team’s gear is encouraged, but if you’re attending as a neutral (or just want to wear tech-wear), then this quick-dry fabric is appreciated in a situation where sweat is unavoidable. The Shorts: [Proof 9″ Nomad Short – $68](. Going tech here to hopefully avoid “bleacher butt”. Those plastic seats in stadiums, combined with heat and sun, can create a swampy backside mess that can make your shorts adhere to your skin until awkwardly tug the fabric away. A tech short should alleviate that problem. One of Huckberry’s best sellers. The Belt: [Banana Republic Webb Belt in Olive Green – $59.50](. Web belts are a summertime basic. If BR’s version is too spendy, you could always [go cheap]( (and [Magnum](). The Sneakers:[Nike Pegasus Trail 2 – $130](. Baseball stadiums are notoriously messy/sticky… lots of spilled beer and ketchup. These are built for the trail, so one would have to assume they’d do a decent job keeping you from sliding around on the concourse slop, all while keeping any upturned pilsner from soaking your socks. Wearing something like white sneakers or light canvas kicks would be a disaster. Your shoes would end up looking like you just got out of a Gwar concert by the 6th inning. The Socks: [Sock It To Me Foot Long Socks – $5.99](. Do they clash? YOU BET YOUR SWEET PATOOT THEY CLASH AND THAT’S THE DAMN POINT! The Sunglasses:[Huckberry Cruisers – $35](. A different shape, but from the model pics on Huckberry, on the face they don’t look too far out there. Just different enough to garner some compliments. And you can’t beat the price. The Watch: [Seiko 5 Sports Automatic Gray Nylon Strap Watch – $185.63]( ($247.50). Going with a nylon strap watch here, since leather wrapped against skin on a warm day doesn’t make for much comfort. If you’re looking for something a little more colorful just swap that nylon strap out to match your team’s colors. The Sun Protection:[Sun Bum Scalp and Hair Mist – $14.99]( or [Ebbets Field Flannels US Tour Of Japan 1934 Vintage Ballcap – $49](. Of course if you have your favorite ballclub’s hat, then wear their hat. But if you’re in the market for a versatile ballcap that offers the breathability of wool, this is a handsome choice. Just know that it’s old school flannel. So thicker. Still will breathe better than some mostly poly cheap cap. Meanwhile, if you’re not a hat guy but want to protect your noggin from the sun, use a hair and scalp sunscreen mist. Sunscreen up, no matter what. And don’t forget your ears. The Sweat Mopper: [Wallace & Barnes Organic Cotton Bandana – $11.50]( ($19.50). Having a bandana on hand isn’t a bad idea. You can use it to wipe the sweat from your face and neck. You can also use it to mop off the Bud Light the excited fan behind you sloshed in your direction. Also, we take your privacy rights seriously. Head [here]( to learn more. [BESTSALE = Extra 50% off J. Crew Final Sale Styles]( Summer might have just (scientifically) started, but we’re pretty deep into the calendar when it comes to retail. And thus, big “end of season” sales are starting to roll in. Despite the weather now beginning to really heat up. This sale is surprisingly good. Lots of stock. Lots of “wear now” stuff. Steep cuts in prices. The one draw back is that it seems to be mostly/almost all final sale. So no returns. Code BESTSALE knocks [an extra 50% off already reduced items](. Ready to gamble? Off we go with the picks. [Unstructured Ludlow Slim-fit Portuguese cotton-linen Jacket]( & [Matching Trouser – $119.98]( FINAL ($336) [J. Crew Ludlow suit]( Probably the steal of the sale. [Weddings](. Long evenings on a nice patio with a drink in hand. Trips into the office (if you have an office). J. Crew’s unstructured cotton/linen suit separates are already a bit legendary, but to have one in a really handsome dark Navy/Black Glen Plaid, at this price, is a total steal. There’s just something about a dark suit in a lightweight summer fabric. It’s a bit mysterious, where as lighter shades like tan and traditional seersucker can lean… silly? Silly’s not bad. Especially in the summer. But this is more sexy. Still relaxed and summer appropriate though. Feel free to skip the tie and add a pocket square instead. Also shown at the top of the post. Sold as separates. [Don’t forget the pants](. [Stretch chambray chinos in 484 slim – $27.99]( FINAL or [770 straight fit – $29.99]( FINAL ($59.50) [J. Crew chambray chinos]( Super versatile. Wear with everything from sneakers and a t-shirt, to a dress shirt and [that navy/black glenplaid unstructured jacket](. Four different shades to pick from here, including gray if blue chambray isn’t your thing. Also shown at the very top of the post. [Slim stretch Secret Wash shirt in navy gingham – $19.75](//www.jcrew.com/p/mens_category/shirts/secret_wash/slim-stretch-secret-wash-shirt-in-organic-cotton-gingham/AA429?color_name=van-buren-gingham-navy-h) FINAL or [Royal Gingham – $20.99]( FINAL ($69.50) [J. Crew gingham shirt](//www.jcrew.com/p/mens_category/shirts/secret_wash/slim-stretch-secret-wash-shirt-in-organic-cotton-gingham/AA429?color_name=van-buren-gingham-navy-h) As classic as it gets. The J. Crewiest of J. Crew shirts. And that’s not a bad thing. [White Stretch Chino Pants in 484 Slim]( or [770 Straight Fit – $34.99]( FINAL ($79.50) [J. Crew white stretch chino pants]( Aw I dunno if I can pull off white chinos Joe. Of course you can. Especially in a blazing hot summer like this one. [Here’s how](. [Stretch chino pants in 484 Slim]( or [770 Straight – $34.99]( FINAL ($79.50) [J. Crew stretch chinos]( Frankly, I think white chinos are easier to wear than salmon or red. But that’s just me. [Slim]( or [straight fits available](. [Slim short-sleeve seersucker shirts – $31.49]( FINAL ($69.50) [J. Crew Slim short-sleeve seersucker shirts]( Pucker up people. It’s gonna get hot. And that’s when seersucker excels, with its pucker creating air channels that can help cool you off. Slim fit helps you look more style-forward, and less Tommy Bahama bloomy dad shirt. [Cashmere Striped Sweaters in Waffle]( or [Plain Stitch – $49.99]( FINAL ($178 – $138) If you’re gonna throw a sweater in a weekender bag for a quick trip away, might as well be cashmere. Heavily discounted (final sale) cashmere. [Court Sneakers in Tan or Black – $49.99]( FINAL ($148) [Court Sneakers in Tan or Black]( The white sneakers are still pegged at full price, but the tan or black are on sale for $99.99. Apply the code, and ta-da. Down to $50. [Full review can be found here](. [Dock short in stretch yarn-dyed plaid – $26.49]( FINAL ($69.50) or [organic cotton-nylon camouflage – $26.99]( FINAL ($59.50) [J. Crew dock short]( Dock short summer is heating up. Really liking the camo option. Although I’m guessing the cotton in that camo mix is organic, and not the nylon. Organic nylon would be something. Which I suppose if they’re pulling it straight out of the ground, chances are it hasn’t been hit by pesticides. Wait, so is all nylon organic? Probably not. [Lounge short in plaid – $19.99]( FINAL ($59.50) More lounge/dock style shorts. These are loud. But loud works when it’s well over 100 degrees. [Garment-dyed slub cotton hoodie – $19.99]( FINAL ($59.50) If a hoodie can be “beachy”, then these are those hoodies. Surf’s up, brah. [Cashmere jogger pant – $88.99]( FINAL ($198) Still can’t believe more than one brand made cashmere sweats. But here they are. [Slim stretch organic cotton chambray shirt in dark wash – $34.99](//www.jcrew.com/p/mens_category/shirts/slim-stretch-organic-cotton-chambray-shirt-in-dark-wash/AA160?color_name=core-chambray) FINAL ($79.50) //www.jcrew.com/p/mens_category/shirts/slim-stretch-organic-cotton-chambray-shirt-in-dark-wash/AA160?color_name=core-chambray Chambray shirts are great… unless they’re super stiff and come with too many pockets. Then they’re not very versatile. This one doesn’t do that! It’s versatile! Wear it under a light summer sportcoat or a chore blazer. [Lightweight sunfaded french terry shawl-collar sweatshirt in stripe – $32.99]( FINAL ($69.50) [Lightweight sunfaded french terry shawl-collar sweatshirt in stripe]( They took your favorite winter shawl collar, merged it with a sweatshirt, and pumped it full of summertime vibes. [Cotton patch-pocket sweater-blazer – $75.49]( FINAL ($168) [Cotton patch-pocket sweater-blazer]( Chunky knit. “But how do you wear it?” That’s pretty much how you wear it, right there. With lightwash jeans or broken in chinos. With a t-shirt or polo. Don’t overthink it. It’s pretty casual. Just use it as a functional extra layer that happens to look pretty darn good. [Lightweight sunfaded french terry sweatshirt – $29.49]( FINAL ($69.50) That ivory option could see lots of use during the warmer seasons. Big fan of the pocket at the chest too. [Printed Linen Check – $12.49](//www.jcrew.com/p/shops/50_off_new_arrivals/accessories1/printed-linen-pocket-square/AX113?color_name=mini-gingham-navy-ivory) FINAL or [Cotton Liberty Print Pocket Square – $22.49]( FINAL ($49.50) //www.jcrew.com/p/shops/50_off_new_arrivals/accessories1/printed-linen-pocket-square/AX113?color_name=mini-gingham-navy-ivory Pretty much the perfect pocket squares for warmer weather ahead. Not some glossy silk thing. Linen and cotton here. [Ludlow suede tassel loafers – $118.99](//www.jcrew.com/p/mens_category/shoes_sneakers/oxfords/ludlow-suede-tassel-loafers/AH877?color_name=snuff-suede) FINAL ($298) //www.jcrew.com/p/mens_category/shoes_sneakers/oxfords/ludlow-suede-tassel-loafers/AH877?color_name=snuff-suede Final sale shoes are so risky. Especially loafers. No laces to cinch down a so-so fit if they’re slopping about. Want. But. Don’t buy these. Maybe. [Ludlow Slim-fit unstructured seersucker suit jacket](//www.jcrew.com/p/shops/50_off_new_arrivals/suiting1/ludlow-slimfit-unstructured-blazer-in-stretch-seersucker/L1015?color_name=navy-black-stripe) & [matching trouser – $134.99](//www.jcrew.com/p/shops/50_off_new_arrivals/suiting1/ludlow-slimfit-unstructured-pant-in-stretch-seersucker/L1017?color_name=navy-black-stripe) FINAL ($356) [Ludlow Seersucker Suit](//www.jcrew.com/p/shops/50_off_new_arrivals/suiting1/ludlow-slimfit-unstructured-blazer-in-stretch-seersucker/L1015?color_name=navy-black-stripe) Traditional seersucker is dandyish. Dark seersucker is dashing. Just depends on what you’re going for. Personally, go with dark. It can look really pretty darn terrific on a hot summer night. [Wallace & Barnes Copilot sunglasses – $19.99](//www.jcrew.com/p/mens_feature/newarrivals/justin/wallace-barnes-copilot-sunglasses/AV851?color_name=mixed-tort) FINAL ($79.50) //www.jcrew.com/p/mens_feature/newarrivals/justin/wallace-barnes-copilot-sunglasses/AV851?color_name=mixed-tort Another risk because if they look odd on your face, then you’re out twenty bucks. Because like almost everything else, they’re final sale. Interesting that they put these under the Wallace & Barnes line instead of the regular J. Crew name? W&B stuff can sometimes feel a bit more substantial in build quality. [Wallace & Barnes Slim-fit Chore Blazer in Cotton-Linen – $99.50]( ($150) [J. Crew Wallace & Barnes Slim-fit chore blazer in cotton-linen]( NOT final sale… yet still on sale. Code won’t apply here but still worth a mention. One of J. Crew’s best sellers and for good reason. Wear it as a spring/summer light jacket. Wear it as a super casual sportcoat. Wear it with everything and take it everywhere. Big fan of the new “skylark blue” shown above. Got one for myself recently and while it’s more sack-style and not super tailored, I wear it all the time with everything. It’s a super easy, great looking layer to throw on early in the AM or later at night when it cools off a bit. The J. Crew [Extra 50% off final sale items code BESTSALE]( runs clear through July 5th. ff/Dappered?a=85iXCXHsWX8:iQR125KhYsU:yIl2AUoC8zA ff/Dappered?a=85iXCXHsWX8:iQR125KhYsU:qj6IDK7rITs ff/Dappered?a=85iXCXHsWX8:iQR125KhYsU:gIN9vFwOqvQ You are subscribed to email updates from [Dappered Style Mail]().
