As I’m looking at my Bloomberg screen, here's what’s catching my eye… First off, we’re looking at: What % move the options market is expecting… How the stock typically performs the day after earnings… The options market is pricing in a 9.7% move, which is significant. Here’s the catch — if you want to get in on the options this time around, you’re going to have to pay up. The [implied volatility (IV)]( is very high, you need at least a 10% move just to break even. But remember, NVDA has had a 25% post-earnings move in the past, so it might be worth putting a small amount of money on a really far out-of-the-money option. But be cautious — this is a stock where the options market has already priced out a lot of the juice.
