DA has a meltdown over De Lille corruption allegations

In what should have been De Lille's farewell speech, the mayor came out guns blazing. Accusing DA members of tarnishing her "good name", De Lille and her newly departing DA councillors might well have sparked the beginning of a proper insurrection. A councillor's house in Ixopo has been set on fire by unknown arsonists overnight. Samwu claimed that fire fighters were "overworks and underpaid". No overtime pay and poor labour relations appeared to be at the heart of the matter.
