Friend, GOP leaders are considering a radical [plan]( to replace income tax with a 30% federal sales tax and abolish the IRS. If enacted, their plan would raise prices on everything we buy, including groceries, gas, clothing, medicine, and more. Inflation has already raised the monthly bills we struggle to pay. Now Republicans want to raise them even more. It would hit middle and low-income people the hardest while giving wealthy folks a break on their income taxes.
