Maybe.]( Investors are diagnosing a healthy future for startups offering remote patient monitoring (RPM), with the sector raising more than $220 million so far this year. RPM has long been heralded as a way to ease strained health care resources, but doctors and insurers have been slow to adopt. What changed? [TripActions looks to thaw out IPO pipeline]( Business travel startup TripActions has confidentially filed to go public next year, reportedly aiming for a $12 billion valuation. The California company previously raised $275 million in a Series F round led by Greenoaks Capital last October at a $7.25 billion valuation. [SoftBank plans to cut 30% of Vision Fund staff]( After facing one of the biggest quarterly losses in history, SoftBank plans to lay off another 30% of employees, according to reports. The Vision Fund, SoftBank’s venture arm, reported a devastating $21.6 billion loss in August.
