I first began speaking about the Operator Mindset back in 2018 at our Perfect Life Retreat event. It means this: “When you are an OPERATOR, you stay committed to completing your mission no matter what life throws in your way.” Crippling back pain today, Craig? Too bad. You committed to 9 hours of team meetings, coaching calls, and a Zoom QnA ... and you’ve made a promise so you’re going to keep that promise. That’s the Operator Mindset. It doesn’t come easy... But success is simple once you accept how hard it is. When you develop this type of followthrough in your life, you’ll start to move mountains. All merely by the compound effect of doing the things you said you would do. Day after day. So, how do you build an Operator Mindset? The same way I did... 1. Create a Vision for Your Life If you’re just flying blind all the time… You will stumble and make poor decisions. But when you know your intended destination… You can choose the correct route for getting there. That’s why I always say… “Values and Vision drive every decision.” 2. Surrounding Yourself with Better People When you are the weakest, dumbest, least successful person in the room, it does one of two things to people: a) Makes weak people give up b) Makes strong people STRONGER That’s why you must relentlessly seek out people that make you play up a level in life. Yes, it takes some work to find the right people, but it’s easier than you think. Masterminds, both in-person and virtual, are KEY. Participating in live and online events exposes you to more great people. And it’s essential that you connect with as many great people as you can. Same goes for volunteer and charity work. You’ll meet kind, generous, and often very successful people when you get involved with organizations where folks donate their time and money. And it’s usually a great place to connect with other business owners and entrepreneurs. As you grow your network, you'll find those 2-3 key men and women that push you harder than everyone else. Much like I found Bedros and Joel. 3. Push Yourself Other people can help a lot... But at the end of the day, your success is your personal responsibility. No one cares about your business as much as you. No one. You must also challenge yourself in a lot of ways... Personally, I do this through my daily 3:57 am wake up, aggressive goal setting, aggressive deadlines, and maintaining a healthy diet. Never settle. 4. Recruit Public Accountability Tell the world what you are going to show them. It sounds simple but this can become your Secret Weapon. When I encouraged Zander Fryer to tell the world he was going to find the love of his life in 90 days… People offered help, and he succeeded. When I told the world I quit cursing… I used the power of that commitment and congruence to become a better version of myself and shed a bad habit. When people in my old Turbulence Training Transformation Contests posted their Before Photo on Day One of the contest… They harnessed the power of Public Accountability and it changed their lives. Just imagine what it can do for you. ======= So there you have it. 4 powerful ways to develop an Operator Mindset and keep executing on your goals NO MATTER WHAT gets in your way. Mindset is everything when it comes to winning in life and business. So if you’re looking to increase your win rate… I suggest you start working on becoming an Operator today. Success Loves Speed, Craig PS - If you’re ready to 2X your income (or more) while working 10 less hours per week... ... Just REPLY to this email with the words “2X 10 LESS” and we'll set up a time to chat with you to find out if we can help.
