Almost every copywriter gets into copywriting for a couple of simple reasons… To make good money… To work for themself… To enjoy time and money freedom without working a soul-sucking 9 to 5… Any of those tick the box for you? But every single year, I see the same thing… A flood of NEW copywriters eager to live that “dream life”… While just as many - or more - drop out of copywriting altogether. Some get into media buying or something else in marketing… While others spin out, their dreams of the “good life” land in the toilet. Some even talk trash about their mentors, or the courses they bought, or the masterminds that “sold them a bill of goods”… So, what’s the #1 “copywriter killer”... That makes SO MANY wash out and leave the industry altogether? Some people blame this “new wave” of younger copywriters and their lack of willingness to “work hard” - or learn from the “masters”... Which is bullshit, IMO. Copywriting is supposed to be about working less and making more. Some blame the clients. Unrealistic expectations, treating them like trash, or a commodity… Some blame AI for taking over “our jobs”. Here’s my take: There IS a #1 “copywriter killer” – and to me, it’s 100% crystal clear. It’s not clients and it’s not AI. It’s not work ethic and it’s not “copywriting skill”. The problem? It’s the mindset of “imposter syndrome.” And it will absolutely KILL your chances of making it to that “next level” as a copywriter. Imposter Syndrome will keep you from pursuing higher level clients because you believe others are more talented than you - and you don’t belong in their league. …so you never hit “send” on that email or proposal. Imposter Syndrome will keep you from approaching “more successful” people at events… …so you stay at your table, talk with your “safe” friends, and avoid the business owners who NEED copywriters Imposter Syndrome will keep you from charging what you’re worth. Imposter Syndrome will keep you playing SMALL. Imposter Syndrome will keep you so stuck that you finally throw in the towel… Because you have bills to pay… You have pressure from a spouse or family member… Or because you just become disillusioned with the whole thing. That’s what’s got me so excited about a completely different approach to Imposter Syndrome from my friend Scott Mills. He says that based on the latest neurological research… When it comes to Imposter Syndrome, you should do the OPPOSITE of what everyone else tells you to do. Because when you do, that’s when you can actually REVERSE the damage of Imposter Syndrome. If you don’t know who Scott is… Over the past 4 years, he’s written massive winners for some of the biggest health, personal development, and beauty brands on the planet… His mentors Justin Goff & Stefan Georgi called him one of the top 1% of copywriters in the world. But it wasn’t until he dealt with his own Imposter Syndrome that his career literally took off. He doubled his copywriting income two years in a row - which I’ve never heard of before. He went from 100k in 2019 to making 200k in 2020. Then, in 2021, made 400k just from his copywriting fees… Which is insane. Not long ago he shared a training where he revealed the method that turned it all around. He calls it the “Imposter Reversal Method.” It’s the complete explanation of how he “made friends” with his inner imposter… Which ended up being the biggest game changer of his career. Plus there’s a guided meditation that helps embed this method into your neural pathways so it can become the new “Default”. If this sounds interesting to you... And you'd like to keep Imposter syndrome from sabotaging your career so you can… - Significantly increase your income… maybe even DOUBLE it like Scott did… - Charge what you deserve... - Work with higher level clients… Then The Imposter Reversal Method is for you. Oh, and it’s already being used by a bunch of other top-tier copywriters like Rob Tidwell, Samantha Novak, Andrew Trachtman, Grant Poulson, Matthew Katz, Meg Evans, Jared Buck, and a whole lot more. So there's a lot of smart and successful copywriters who’ve used Scott’s method to transform their careers. So that's the deal... Like I said, Scott’s method is available now for the first time ever. So if you're ready to reverse the effects of imposter syndrome… And start making more money, charging what you deserve, and working way fewer hours… Then this is for you. All you gotta do is head over to Scott’s site, and you can get all the info to reverse the effects of imposter syndrome. ⇒ [This is the key to preventing the #1 "copywriter killer"]( Here’s to making friends with your Inner Imposter… Matt “You’ve Gotta See Try This For Yourself” Bockenstette Hate my emails?
