It goes over the top 13 specific post types that grow and sell for info brands. [Join it](=) and go the the Masterclasses space to get all of them. Content Creators Pick Post Types I recently had a coaching client ask me: "How often should I do a personal post? And how often should I do a sales post? I'm having trouble with the frequency of each." That sounds like a fair question, but it's actually not a very good one. When you choose a post type, you end up getting a bunch of engagement on posts that don't build your brand or sell for you, and then when you try to sell or be personal, nobody wants to read it. I've seen this happen to dozens of big-time creators. They get big posting one way, and then they try to transition the brand into one that sells and is personal. The results are awful. They often get 1,000 likes on their regular content type and 10 on the others. Copy Creators Do It All In Every Post Think of wide appeal, sales, and yourself as ingredients. You don't choose one per post. You mix all of them into every post, to varying degrees. So instead of doing something like this: - Emotionally-resonant idea in my LinkedIn photo. - Expanding on that idea in the text portion. I'll do something like this: - Emotionally-resonant idea in my the photo. - Relating that idea to myself in the text portion. - Selling my offer at the end of the text portion. Example: See what I mean? Instead of just selling, or just sharing about myself, or just getting engagement, I'm doing it all. Sometimes I go heavier on engagement bait and lighter on selling. Sometimes I do the opposite. But no matter what, I'm add all 3 ingredients. You can do this in blog posts too. You might write a useful listicle, but you share some personal experiences and soft sales pitches in it. Do it all. That's how you build a brand that grows and sells. - Charles P.S.
