If you'd like to unsubscribe [click here.]( Because of supporters like you, we’re going to an April 4th runoff in the race to become Chicago’s next mayor — and now I’m counting on your help to win. [Will you split a donation between our people-powered campaign and The Collective PAC before tomorrow's end-of-quarter deadline? We have less than 2 weeks to build a winning coalition of Chicago voters before Election Day.]( [DONATE NOW »]( As the son of a pastor, and one of ten children, I am grateful to my parents for teaching us to work together, to sacrifice, and most important, to serve. They taught me to abide by the golden rule: treating others the way you want to be treated. Our commitment to one another is essential to building a stronger Chicago. And it will take all of us — from working families, to immigrant families, to our LGBTQ siblings and people in all corners of our city — to work as partners for the change we all need. That’s why I’m reaching out today. [If you can spare a few bucks today, please split a donation between my campaign and The Collective PAC by clicking here. We urgently need the resources to reach more Chicago voters before the April 4th runoff election, and we’re counting on supporters like you.]( If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be processed immediately and split between Brandon Johnson and The Collective PAC. My wife and I are raising our three children on the West Side of Chicago, so our family experiences firsthand the effects of generational disinvestment. Hunger, homelessness and unemployment are right outside our front door. Gun violence is not only on the news; it traumatizes our neighborhood. As a teacher, I also experienced the painful impact of disinvestment on my students and their families. We cannot make Chicago whole until all of us are whole. That’s why we’re going to invest in people. Safe and vibrant neighborhoods, affordable housing, health care for all, fully-funded schools — the life I want for my family and my neighbors is the same life I want for all Chicagoans. That’s why I’m in this race. [But I can’t win this fight alone, so please: will you split a donation between our campaign and The Collective PAC before our critical end-of-quarter deadline? Whether you chip in $5 or $50 or $500, you’re making a huge difference in a mayoral race that could come down to just a few thousand votes.]( If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be processed immediately and split between Brandon Johnson and The Collective PAC.
