Especially when a better version might be coming soon. [CNET]( Insider [March 30, 2023](#?ftag=CAD-04-10aac3a&utm_email=02015bee48352e908c609176b0b8e62f74e1d7c914618055c65562e7c03efb52&utm_campaign_id=6509641&utm_email_id=02afb1038dd6d0771cebfbc54eb60a77aa45b4e49454236328c30d600bfdf92a&utm_newsletter_id=71558&medium=email&source=iterable) [Apple's New VR Headset Might Not Be Worth It]( Apple's [Worldwide Developers Conference]( is confirmed for June 5, which means we’re only a couple months away from the potential unveiling of Apple’s brand new [VR headset](. CNET’s Scott Stein has been covering virtual reality technology for years and is looking forward to seeing what Apple has to offer the category. But he also thinks it’s [not a product most people should buy]( even if you’re interested. The first incarnation of the headset is supposed to cost close to $3,000 and offer limited battery life. Plus, the first generation of any new Apple product isn’t always the best. After all, the original iPhone lacked the App Store, while the first Apple Watch was slow and expensive. I'm sure Scott and others will find the headset to be the star of the show, if it is indeed unveiled in June. But I have my eye on a more practical product that I hope Apple announces at the presentation: a [15-inch Macbook Air](. Please, oh please, Apple, give me this computer. I don’t care what it costs. Take my money – it’s yours. I just really need a sleek, lightweight Mac with a big screen. The MacBook Pros are too heavy and I dislike their thick, boxy design, and the 13-inch Air is too small for my work layout. A 15-inch display is the sweet spot and I know you know it too. Why else did you make so many 15-inch laptops for all those years? Also, it would be extra great, Apple, if you could throw in the new, yet-to-be-released [M3 processor]( and the ability to upgrade to 36GB of memory so I can future-proof my new purchase. I don’t care what colors it comes in, as long as this machine exists and I can buy it. OK, thanks so much for considering my request. You’re the best. Much love, Sarah Lord, Writer P.S.
