Add your name to protect voting rights. [Chuck Schumer]( {NAME} -- The Supreme Court just upheld a despicable voter suppression law in Arizona. It’s clear that the Supreme Court’s conservative majority does not take its duty -- not to mention its Constitutional requirement -- to administer equal justice under law as a duty to protect the most important part of the democratic process. Although our majority is historically fragile, this Democratic Congress does take our duty seriously. It’s on Congress to act fast and decisively to uphold voting rights. [We need a broad coalition of Americans to show they want to put a stop to Jim Crow 2.0. Are you with us? Add your name to demand action from Congress on voting rights right now.]( [ADD YOUR NAME →]( The Supreme Court has done more to set voting rights back than any other actor in the last decade. This ruling is, simply put, unconscionable. A conservative majority chose to double down on their gutting of the Voting Rights Act, failing to properly respond to a wave of restrictive and discriminatory laws and upholding one such law instead. So the burden is back on Congress to restore the Voting Rights Act to its intended strength -- and put a stop to the systemic attacks on voters that weaken our democracy. [We need to see you’re with us. Will you sign the petition demanding Congressional action on voting rights?]( Thanks for standing up for voting rights, Chuck Schumer This email was sent to {EMAIL}.
