Ohio voters JUST said no to this kind of anti-abortion extremism. {NAME}, My opponent, Troy Balderson, isn’t just a “MAGA extremist”: his radical agenda and personal beliefs are dangerous and threaten our freedom and our rights.  Balderson is a proud supporter and promoter of a national “Right to Life at Conception” bill.  The bill that Balderson is so proud of provides a “right to life guaranteed by the Constitution” for human beings “at all stages of life, including the moment of fertilization” (emphasis added). Under this legislation, a newly-fertilized egg, even before implantation (a process that Balderson and the other extremists are likely totally ignorant of), would have the same rights as a 22 year-old adult. Balderson’s ridiculous “life at conception” policy is not only an unprecedented intrusion of government into our personal and sexual lives—it is completely unscientific and would be impossible to enforce fairly.  His bill would open the door to some truly unacceptable and unthinkable scenarios of government officials making it their business, by law, to track, know, and judge what consenting adults do in the bedroom.  Thankfully, Ohio voters just said, loudly and clearly, that this kind of anti-abortion extremism is not welcome in our state. By a vote of 57%-43%, voters approved an amendment to the Ohio state constitution that enshrines the right to make a personal choice about whether to carry a pregnancy to term up to the point of fetal viability.  But if dangerous extremists like Balderson are allowed to return to Congress and are given a majority next year, bills like this could become law. We have to fight to defeat Balderson and every other anti-freedom member of Congress, flip the House, and pass into law protections for women’s right to choose like Ohio just did.  [Will you help me win this race and help build a durable House majority for Democrats in 2024?
