GOP Rep. Balderson is predictably absent... {NAME}, Let's cut to the chase. In Ohio's 12th District, the lack of accessible child care is a crisis that can't be ignored any longer.  Especially in our rural communities, parents are struggling. Quality child care? For too many, it's a pipe dream. And it’s our kids that suffer, as usual. The fact is that three-quarters of farming families have trouble finding child care because of cost, distance, or scheduling incompatibility.  Enter the Expanding Childcare in Rural America Act, championed by Ohio’s own Senator Sherrod Brown and Kansas Republican Senator Roger Marshall: This isn't about left or right; it's about right and wrong. This bill promises real change, offering a lifeline for child care in areas that have been overlooked for too long. While bipartisan leaders, including some of the most conservative voices from the midwest have joined with Senator Brown to try and deliver for working families, wouldn’t you know it that my opponent, MAGA culture warrior Troy Balderson, is not on the bill. As the child of a single mom who worked, and as a parent myself, I know that safe, quality, affordable childcare means everything. It can be the difference between poverty and middle class security.  I'm throwing my full support behind this bill because our families can't wait for action. We need solutions, not more excuses. That's where you come in. I need you to help me show Troy Balderson what real leadership looks like.
