Hi {NAME}, I want you to imagine yourself in this scenario. Someone has a gun to your head and says:

Hi {NAME}, I want you to imagine yourself in this scenario. Someone has a gun to your head and says: “You can only accomplish ONE task today after you’re finished with your day job. Pick now.” (Kinda reminds me of [that scene]( in Fight Club where the convenience store owner admits he always wanted to be a vet, but he never went through with it because it required “too much” schooling.) What task are you going to choose? Here’s why this matters. It’s WAY too easy to get to the end of the day and be pissed at yourself that you didn’t accomplish anything. "There's not enough time in the day. The weekend needs to be longer" But at least you're caught up on the latest Instagram memes. At least you finished the latest season of House of Cards right? My apartment is kinda in chaos, and it’s never super tidy (until my maid comes). But that’s a decision I make, ON PURPOSE. Because EVERY day I’m putting effort into the things that matter. - Running campaigns - Health and exercise (BJJ + yoga) - Writing blog posts and emails for you guys Those are higher leverage tasks for me. I can have a maid come twice a week to take care of the chaos. Most people spend their time distracting themselves from reality. They know they should be doing something else, but they use these other things to distract them from the BIG PICTURE GOALS that they know they really want. You wanna scrub the floors, have a perfectly clean office space, and dust off all your X-men figurines on the mantlepiece? Or... You wanna hit the end of the day knowing that you’re one more campaign closer to hitting 4 figure profits per day and buying your own apartment for cash? Don’t let the small things in life stop you from achieving the big things that you really want. Close your email and get started on some campaigns. * No more Facebook envy wishing you were Dan Bilzerian. * No more Buzzfeed videos of people eating giant hamburgers. Everyone's always looking for the magic bullet when it comes to "motivation." It's like there's a secret song or youtube video that you can watch everyday and feel like a Lion. My biggest secret is this: 1. Motivation comes and goes. Habit / discipline always lasts. Do you need "motivation" to brush your teeth in the morning? No...you do it because of habits. 2. When you're procrastination, you only need enough motivation to get started. So I'll tell myself I'll work on a task for just 2 minutes, and I'll naturally continue. 3. I'm always trying to eliminate friction to do a behavior more. I use to go to BJJ classes 2 times a week because the academy was a 35 minute drive. Now I live walking distance to my academy and go 6x a week. I'm not more "motivated"...the behavior's easier. Make sense? Lets get to work. Don’t Be That Greasy, Sleazy Car Salesman Have you ever bought a car from a used car dealership? Nightmare, right? It’s like being in a hostage negotiation situation! I remember the first time I did this and it was painful. - You make an offer. - He pretends that your offer hurt his feelings because it’s so low. - Then he makes an insane counter offer. - You come back with another offer and he says he has to, “Talk to his manager,” which really means he’s going to sit in his office for 10-minute instant coffee and then come back and say he can’t go that low. It all feels so...gross, and you know that it’s coming every time. The fact is that there are certain psychological sales triggers that you can pull that make people buy, and it doesn’t matter what personality you have (shy, sleazy, introverted, bubbly etc.) And the most interesting thing I've learned is that you use sales 24 / 7. Trying to convince your co-worker to do a project? That's sales. Trying to get a friend out to the movies. That's sales too. It's one of those "force multiplier" skills that'll benefit all aspects of life. In this week’s post, I want to share with you some scientific principles of selling I’ve used for the past 10 years... And it’s IMPOSSIBLE to make money without them. Remember guys, it’s affiliate MARKETING. Here’s the link, let me know if it helps your campaigns. [How to Sell ANYTHING Online With These 9 Psychological Triggers > > >]( The More You Ngo, The More You Know Here are some cool things I've read this week: The tools you need to run a remote team, the 10-10-10 rule I live by, and how to change your life if you’re over 30. If you guys ever find a cool article you think I’d enjoy, you can always reply and let me know! [The Software To Easily Run a Remote Team]( I’ve talked a lot about the need to outsource and develop a good team around you. But the “HOW”, is a whole new game. Think of this page as a reference - whenever you have a problem, there’s software you can use to fix it. (My companies use a lot of these tools.) [When The Decisions Get Tough...The Tough Use The 10-10-10 Rule]( There are some decisions in life that are really tough. So many options, so many possible consequences. These are the decisions that can make or break you. - “Should I do affiliate marketing and shoot for the stars, or go the slow, steady path with my job and retire at 65?” - “Should I get a divorce, or stay in it for the kids?” - “Should I go PS4 or Xbox?” In those moments, use the 10-10-10 rule to figure out whether this decision is right. This is seriously helpful… [Do You Really Need Those Cocoa Puffs? Actually, You Might...]( You probably have an opinion about sugar. We’ve basically been told it’s the devil’s food for years. Eat sugar and you’ll get fat. All that stuff. But it turns out that it’s not quite that simple. Sugar can be good. Sugar can be bad. It all depends on how you use it. Read this one to see how you can use sugar and maintain optimal health. [How To Be Invincible]( Okay, maybe not invincible. But I found this to be a pretty crazy read. Here’s the deal: your age isn’t your age. In other words, even though you may be 25, you may have the body of a 40-year-old, and vice versa. But...there is one way to have a constantly youthful body. Just buy my $99 /month anti-wrinkle cream. Or read the article. [This Guy Hated His Job, What He Did Next Will Shock You]( Lol. This is a cool read. It’s how one guy basically changed careers after he hit 30 years old. Basically, he taught himself how to code in his 30’s, and make a full-time living from it. (In 2017 he’s leading a team of 10 engineers at Udacity.) So how did he do it? He uses a lot of principles from [Cal Newport](, and a ton of self-study (almost free). Talk soon, Charles P.S That post about changing careers after turning 30 hit me pretty hard. Guys, if people are doing something as hardcore as becoming a full-stack engineer leading 10 engineers after learning to program at 30 years old... There’s NO REASON why you can’t learn affiliate marketing at any age. I personally think programming is more difficult, but for some reason, affiliates get the 7-figure pay checks :-) More by Charles Ngo - [The Archives](: Browse my best articles - [The Ultimate Guide to Affiliate Marketing:]( The best course on affiliate marketing ever released...and it's FREE - [AFFcelerator](: Learn more about my advanced affiliate marketing training Follow me on [Facebook](, [YouTube](, and [Snapchat]( [Unsubscribe]( AFFcelerator, LLC 199 E Flagler St #398 Miami, Florida 33131 United States
