Overwhelmed with your goals and to do list? ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Overwhelmed with your goals and to do list? ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Hi, I hope you're doing well! 10x Your Focus with a Start Here Page How do you feel when you see your "to do" list? For me, it was Overwhelm + Anxiety = Analysis Paralysis. Here's what went through my mind: - Which tasks are the most important? - I spent so much time on my annual and quarterly plans. Uhhh...where and what are they again? - My team would be on one system (Wrike). My personal tasks were on a separate Kanban software. And then I'd "simplify" everything with pencil and paper. Can you relate to any of these? I created a solution that works for me. It's a command center that I call my Start page. First, it contains my outcomes from Quarterly down to daily. Each section can be hidden so you don't feel information overload. There's also a Kanban board that filters my tasks. I've always had elements of these in different systems. The problem is that task managers are rigid; you have to do things their way. Well, I discovered tool called Notion a while back. Its superpower is its flexibility. The software has allowed me to execute things the way I've always wanted to. 1. I created a quick video where I walk you through how it works. ~/AAAHUQA~/RgRivyVAP0UgYWQxZWRjMjNhNWFmZDJhZmJkNGEzMzJjNTNlZjE1NmZEO2h0dHBzOi8vd3d3Lmxvb20uY29tL3NoYXJlL2Y5N2ZkNzFlYmFjMDQ1ZTA4NDUwMDYwMjA3ZWNkZDI3VwVzcGNldUIKYNlAoNxg7vgWrlIbdHJpc3RyYW1iYWxkd2luOTJAZ21haWwuY29tWAQAABbd 2. I created a template that you can easily duplicate into your own [Notion](~/AAAHUQA~/RgRivyVAP0UgZDMxMGY1YzJhMWE0YjRlOTQyNDNkZjVkNTA2MWI4MGVEFmh0dHBzOi8vd3d3Lm5vdGlvbi5zby9XBXNwY2V1Qgpg2UCg3GDu-BauUht0cmlzdHJhbWJhbGR3aW45MkBnbWFpbC5jb21YBAAAFt0~). [View the Template](~/AAAHUQA~/RgRivyVAP0UgMmMzNzQzYjQxMDc0Y2NiNGQ0NTkxZTNkYzhjMGIxNTZEQWh0dHBzOi8vd3d3Lm5vdGlvbi5zby9TdGFydC1IZXJlLWNjYjhmNTE3NmI0NDRhMWViZTdjM2MyMzIyNzg5Y2NlVwVzcGNldUIKYNlAoNxg7vgWrlIbdHJpc3RyYW1iYWxkd2luOTJAZ21haWwuY29tWAQAABbd) (Notion is free by the way for single users) The end result? Focus. I know what I'm supposed to be doing each day. I know that my daily -> weekly -> monthly -> quarterly tasks are all connected. I hope this helps you. Try it out and let me know what you think. Marketing Powerups Quick marketing tactics you can implement #1. Double Down On Your Position Atoms is a D2C company that focuses on shoes. Their Unique Selling Proposition is that they offer shoes in 1/4 sizes. For some people, the whole and half sizes aren't a good enough fit. By offering 1/4 sizes, people can ensure a better fit. The biggest objection they have is their cost. At $129, some people consider them unaffordable. Rather than ignore the issue, they double down on it. I saw a similar from them on Facebook. Some takeaways: - Validate their concerns - $129 IS a lot of money - They explain why they can't lower their price point. They explain what you'd be sacrificing IF they were to lower the price point. - And finally, they double down on their position. They're never going to lower the price. You get what you pay for. If you want cheap shit, then go elsewhere Money is a sensitive topic. People can be triggered if they sense any judgement or arrogance. So Atoms crushes it by taking a "matter of fact" position. #2. Take Advantage of Small Holidays Everyone loves a good sale. The most common time to do a sale is to do it based around a Holiday. It's not even July yet and the 4th of July sales are already flooding my inbox. So, how do you stand out when everyone's slamming the inbox? You don't - "When they zig, you zag" Instead of promoting on the major holidays, find an obscure Holiday around your niche. [Tushy](~/AAAHUQA~/RgRivyVAP0UgNDI2MmZlMzBlYmMwZmVjMjM2ZDc3MWJkOTcyYmU5ZmREF2h0dHBzOi8vaGVsbG90dXNoeS5jb20vVwVzcGNldUIKYNlAoNxg7vgWrlIbdHJpc3RyYW1iYWxkd2luOTJAZ21haWwuY29tWAQAABbd) is a D2C Bidet company. (Note: The domain is hellotushy. Tushy dot com is uhhh...not safe for work) They're known for their cheeky marketing. Did you know that 6/9 is National Sex Day? I had no idea. But they saw that as an opportunity to promote their bidets. I got an email from them on June 9th. They had my complete attention because it's a "normal" day to the rest of the world. There's no way they'd stand out to me on Black Friday. There are too many emails. You should spend some time looking at this list of [Holidays](~/AAAHUQA~/RgRivyVAP0UgYzQwYzNiMDBmNTlhNmQ1ZDM1YWFjYWFkMzQwOTFjODFEKGh0dHBzOi8vbmF0aW9uYWx0b2RheS5jb20vanVseS1ob2xpZGF5cy9XBXNwY2V1Qgpg2UCg3GDu-BauUht0cmlzdHJhbWJhbGR3aW45MkBnbWFpbC5jb21YBAAAFt0~). There's literally a celebration everyday. Hallmark has been putting in work for decades. Some random ideas: Sell plants? Earth Day Campaign Skincare? July 3rd is National Stay Out of the Sun Day. 30% off all SPF sunblocks! Own a bakery or candy shop? The 3rd Saturday of October is the "Sweetest day" You can make a holiday up if you want. It's our company's birthday. Here's 25% off! Talk soon, Charles p.s. My email cadence is no longer once a week like it used to be. It'll probably be once or twice a month going forward. I'm trying to focus as much as possible to get my other projects off the ground. And the blog / email newsletter is what I'm choosing to sacrifice. Regardless, I'm grateful that we're still in touch.
