We asked Rafin (she/her) — our UX Designer — to answer a few fun questions for you. [Rafin is pictured smiling and gesturing to horns on her head on her polaroid headshot next to a ghost sticker.]( 1. How do you use the CHANI app personally? My favorite part of the CHANI app is the weekly personalized audio readings. I’m a big planner, and I love that I can get a quick snapshot of what the week holds for me every Sunday. It allows me to embrace joy or fortify my shores, depending on the astro-weather. It’s an invaluable tool in my arsenal. 2. What's your rising sign and how do you relate to it? I’m a Capricorn rising and, honestly, I hardly related to it at all before I turned 30. I think growing and getting older has helped me realize that astrology isn’t just who you are right out of the womb — you aren’t just born a Pisces. Your life experiences help shape you into your rising sign or Sun sign. That said, I definitely relate to the aspects of Capricorn being a bit of a workaholic. I love being productive, and I’m constantly seeking out new things to work on and do. 3. What do you like about working at CHANI? My favorite part about working at CHANI is the community. It’s unlike any other place I’ve had the opportunity to work at in terms of how we hold grace for each other and accommodate each other’s needs. Everyone at CHANI is uniquely talented and truly special. I’m very lucky in that I’ve made some lifelong friends on my journey here. 🌈 WANT TO JOIN OUR TEAM?
