Hey boo, Happy New Year! Just like I'm transitioning from my California beach home to the Miami scene, this time of year is all about embracing change and making the most of it. Here are some of the things I’ve been enjoying and thinking about. 1. FAVORITE FIND OF THE WEEK: Right now I'm all about organizing with the [Brother PTouch Label Maker](). Seriously, if you're anything like me and believe everything needs a home, a label maker is pure gold. It’s not just about tidying up; it’s about creating a system where everything is easily findable and manageable. Whether it’s for the kitchen, office, or closet, this little gadget is a game-changer. [image]() 2. WHAT I'M LISTENING TO: January is typically a decluttering month for a lot of us, but in the last two years, it’s become non-optional. Some days my ADHD leaves me feeling overwhelmed by the process of moving out of our California house and figuring out what really needs to go with us to Miami. My go-to guide in this chaos? "Decluttering at the Speed of Life" ([check it out here](). Read this passage: "When I tried to declutter, I examined each item, attempting to assess its value to my current life, my family's current life, and our future life as a whole. I analyzed the importance of each and every item, trying to predict how much I'd use it if I kept it or how much regret I'd feel if I purged it." Yup! That’s me. [image]( This book is less about systems and more about the mind shift I needed to break a few spiraling thought loops that had me buried under a pile of clutter. I also highly suggest "How to Keep House While Drowning" ([find it here](). This little book is a concise, easy-to-understand guide on managing clutter and housekeeping, and it’s perfect for those of us with a neurodivergent brain. There’s no judgment, no shame, and lots of grace for the unique circumstances of each person’s home, schedule, resources, etc. While not every idea will fit everyone, it's all about taking what works for you and leaving the rest. 3. LET’S TALK ABOUT IT. This Week on The Chalene Show: If I could give my younger self one piece of advice, it would be to focus on building strong legs. It's not about doing every exercise out there; it's about prioritizing what really matters. Strong legs boost your metabolism, increase bone density, and enhance overall body health. This episode dives into how focusing on leg strength can make a huge difference in how we age, feel, and look. [image]() So, if you're overwhelmed by trying to do it all, [this]() is a must-watch on YouTube because I take you through the three leg days that I'm currently doing. If you're looking to get the most bang for your buck at the gym, reduce your body fat, or change your shape or body composition, don’t miss it. I'd love to hear how you're prioritizing wellness during this busy time. Leave a comment on [my latest YouTube video]() with the hashtag #LegStrengthLove and share your New Year wellness journey. I love you, I mean it! Chalene [image]() P.S. The Push Journal has been my secret weapon for staying organized amid the decluttering storm and setting the stage for an incredible 2024. Don't miss out on my "Achieve More with Less Stress" workshop. Join me as I guide you through crafting your Push Goal – it's super helpful for staying on track! Check it out [here](. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
