With Rosh Hashanah barely ten days away, I feel that I must share this with you. [Chabad.org]( By the Grace of G‑d 19 Elul, 5784 September 22, 2024 Dear Friend, With Rosh Hashanah just around the corner, I feel that I must share this with you: People all over the world are seeking help. As people from all walks of life take stock of our outgoing year and prepare spiritually for the New Year, Chabad.org’s teams are being deluged with people’s existential questions and concerns — about themselves and about the world we live in. Israel at war. Antisemitism. The elections. Not to speak of the “regular” stresses of daily life. People are anxious. They’re searching for information, tools, and guidance. They seek an anchor, direction, and timeless wisdom. They want to know that they’re going to be okay. So, the pre-Rosh Hashanah requests for information and inspiration are sky-high! Our rabbis, educators, and counselors are pouring their hearts and souls and giving all they can — and then some — to all who turn to us. We are committed to serve every person who turns to us — and to keep the information fresh and running at maximum speed and efficiency for everyone. We can do no less. But it takes the loving care and involvement of friends and partners like you. Friends who give as best you can — to ensure that each individual, around the block or across the globe, gets what they need: A listening ear. Loving reassurance. Practical guidance. And the steadfast appreciation that G-d is running things, is available to each of us, and is counting on each of us to fulfill our unique role for the entire world. Moreover, during this month of Elul, G-d is smiling His radiant countenance upon each of us, welcoming us into His embrace, and encouraging us to get closer to Him. Your gift of $36 — or any amount that's right for you — will make sure that the Chabad.org teams can keep up with the increased demand. [PLEASE DONATE NOW]( In order to ensure that no one is turned away, G‑d forbid, our goal is to reach 18,000 partners to give to our High Holidays Campaign this year. That’s a big goal, I know. But if we all join together — with G-d’s help, we can reach it! Will you join your brothers and sisters around the world to meet the pressing needs of so many people in need? Go to: [Chabad.org/GiveNewLife]( If you'd like to send a check, please do so here: Chabad.ORG | 770 Eastern Parkway Suite 405 | Brooklyn, NY 11213 Please also [remember Chabad.org in your will]( [PLEASE DONATE NOW]( (If you are unable to give right now, we understand. Just go to: [Chabad.org/GiveNewLife]( It’s important because you will help someone right now! Your gift will help someone finish a challenging year on a high note and help them start a wonderful year to come! This year, as the holiness of Rosh Hashanah flows directly into the holiness of Shabbat, we are reminded of the unity and strength that comes from learning and community. This special conjunction signifies a year filled with peace, unity, and renewed strength. As the haters rear their heads, we look inside ourselves, to the Torah, and to each other for strength and resolve. People are looking for more ways to connect than ever before. You can give them this connection and strength. May G‑d in Heaven grant our partnership endless success, and may He provide you and yours with an abundance of blessing, starting with a Healthy, Happy, and Sweet New Year, and a world healed and transformed!
